In philly, down by boathouse row, some mysterious folks would periodically stage an outdoor rave. I’d come across them on my late night runs. They’d always pop up in different spots, fully equipped with lights and sound gear. Take the first step.

Can we show some appreciation for Dancing Gandalf and the other older fella who are in a bunch of Tribal Needs videos? These guys are a treasure. May they live forever and keep dancing.

I saw a DJ in Australia a couple of months ago called Norman Cook the crowd was from 18 years to 70+. As soon as the first beat dropped all the mobile phones disappeared. 0:08 You sir are are that energy that gets into my soul.💃🏻🙏🏼💕

I can only imagine what it must feel like to be you. Bunch of people, mostly standing still, some maybe even skeptical - "who is this guy?". Then slowly heads start bobbing, feet start tapping, gradually turning into people actually dancing, cheering, frowns on those skeptical ones turning into smiles. I envy you that ability. This just made my day. Seeing so many people of all different ages dancing and feeling the music in broad daylight, just enjoying themselves and not caring about whether they look cool or not. It’s just beautiful. Not to mention how incredible the music was. Wow.

This is absolutely great!! He's ending statement that there are no computers isn't right at all as most of those devices are digital and have computers chips in them and are computers that serve one purpose... a computer can be said to do the same job isn't as tactile as hardware even with controllers so hardware is often preferred and much less likely to incur a failure. Hardware is also much better for creating things as you go which does make is better for live use and much more expressive. You've then got the sound of a analogue synth and analogue signals all mixed together which a bit richer and not so clinical like digital... even from a digital device with analogue outs mixed together is a little better for that effect. The way he builds these tracks is very organic and builds just lovely. It reminds me of a playlist I has a number of summers ago, same tone of chores and note coming in and out, making it a lovely thing to build from internally. Wonderful
