@Chad They are actually called lava bombs. They are rocky projectiles that are thrown out of a volcano when it goes BANG. Some can be the size of houses.

1:31 it makes me almost cry seeing her cry :(

My mom suggested the other day that we watch this movie. I saw this and was instantly like "Nope". I can watch horror, I can watch gory stuff all day long. But this really hits me. I was interested in this story of Pompeii ever since elementary school when I learned about this, and I can't describe how saddened I am by it. By simply watching this video I started shaking. This stuff, real human death and real tragedy, always gets me.

Update: I watched the movie. It's pure epicness. Sad, tragic, but it's so much more than just a catastrophe movie.

You have aboslutely 0 proof that their gods were false. I can't believe that in 2020 there are still people who are so fanatical to the core that they think their god is the only true god and everyone else is just stupid and deluded. And If you actually felt what you're saying, you wouldn't even mention the fact that they worshipped different god(s) from yours, you'd just be saddened by the countless deaths.
