I like that Elmer's saw the craze around making squishies with their product, and instead of just rushing a product out to the masses that was lackluster in quality, they waited and developed it properly to ensure something good went out.

Have you ever thought of doing an entire video in your first language? NikkiTutorials did it and I think it was one of her most watched videos. I’d love to see one from you ☺️ As a basic biscuit who only speaks English I’m always entranced by others who are more language-ly talented than myself.

This kit looks super thought out and it's nice seeing a company like Elmer's putting out such a well thought out kit that actually delivers

Its nice that they included tools where 4 people could be making them at the same time and its decently priced.

Get some clay and press into the side of the mold, do that with both sides and then you can have a character to paint!

From my attempts I can say that if you tap the mold on the base of your hand, or on a table, after you pour it really helps getting more of the air bubbles out. It's really helpful expecially with the unicorn characters that way their horns get filled in ❤

OH. MER. GUD. I was actually gonna suggest this craft to you Jackie, and was super excited to see that you were interested too, along with the video! I also can't believe that Elmer's sent you all 80 molds, while I'm here trying to get new ones, after getting so many duplicates. Guess I'm not praying enough to the Elmer's Squishies Gods. LOL

Pretty sure the first character was actually a griffon. Aside from that, I really appreciate how great the kit was, and seeing Jackie truly enjoy the whole experience for once was heartwarming.

Blaze the fire-breathing chicken reminds me of The Cockatrice from GMM. Overall, all the 80 designs are so creative and interesting I love this so much!!! Also so glad to see Jackie enjoys making all of them!

A company actually contacting you that's.... Brave. And smart. This product is perfect for you and your audience: mystery box + fidgety + a bit craftiness. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness put into it is noteworthy and the character desings look fantastic. I agree with you that the solid color ones look better than the glitter ones, those seem to need more pigment or be mixed with the solid colors. You gave some interesting ideas with the glow in the dark and the mica powder that they should take note off. At least for the rare ones to make them extra special. Overall, I liked it. Seems to be a solid product

I love love love that kids can borrow each other's molds! That's so cool, especially for siblings. 😂 That and the fact you can use your own glue and pigments. The only sucky part is that the refills are $18 for 5, making each mochi clock in at $3.60. Wish it was a bit cheaper, but at least the products are quality and it does seem worth it for the activity.

I'm only six and a half minutes in, but I gotta stop and say how impressed I am with this! The tube wringer included in the reusable stir sticks (brilliant), 80 absolutely adorable and totally different characters, not just a dozen in different colors, marked cups, a full color guide...Bruh, someone at Elmers is clearly a grain and made sure that they did everything right. I'm not joking. I'm betting that there's an Elmers grain watching this and is thrilled to see you using their product. I love the fox with the little antlers! I think I'd definitely want that one, but honestly there isn't one in the whole lot that I'd be disappointed to get, which is incredibly rare! Usually I love some but absolutely hate others, but I think all of these look great! Maybe the standing hippo from the front of the box, but really...80 unique creatures with so much character! Edit: I was so stoked to see armadillos included! And I love the facepalm penguin. My only question is, can you use resin dyes, not colored resin but the plain dyes, in these? If you don't know then perhaps I'll reach out to Elmers and see if they can tell me.

This is the perfect upload to watch before I go to work for a 14 hour night shift! I'm a Carer for the elderly, & I'm thinking that I might have to see if this kit is available to buy in the UK as several of my Resident's would really enjoy getting involved in this activity! You've actually given me several ideas throughout your video's of the last couple of years of craft projects I was able to adapt to suit the individual needs of my Resident's so thank you for everything you do for us Grains! I love that it includes a stir stick for every single one. It means doing it as an activity at a birthday party or summer camp doesn't involve waiting for your turn then not getting to enjoy with your friends

I really appreciate that the cups and stirrers are not just "one and done" throwaways. Kodos to Elmer for making something that can be reused. I love the versatility of this kit. I do wonder if you can use the moulds with other products like resin or clay. I think clay would be fine, not sure about resin because the product in this kit did leak out the edges a little as shown when unmoulded. I really loved that glow-in-the-dark version you made; seems that worked really well. Glitter can be cute and pretty, but the glittery characters really don't show the details very well (at least not on camera), so I'm not thrilled with them. Overall, this is a great kit! Tons of characters, versatility, and squishy! Well done, Elmers!

I hope they come out with a nonmystery box version. Because seriously it would suck to get 5 of the same character molds.

Wow!! Elmer's kits blow all of the kid kits out of the water!!! I love that they thought of the "key" to help empty the packets! Genius and perfect for limited mobility people. It empties the entire quantity as well!!!!

Really though, I'm super impressed going by this video. I'm used to toy companies being as lazy as possible with their figure molds most of the time.

It's nice to see a major brand produce a complete and competent craft kit!

You know right away a company stands behind their product when they have the guts to send Jackie thier products lol

I think Elmer's thought throughout when doing this kit. Include mixing sticks, cups, and molds. Making a great craft activity for the kiddos. They should do like a club size for groups.

Wow, that glow in the dark one was insane! I kinda want these. Not only are the molds really cute, they turn out really well!

My favourite animal is a bat. I like dragons too and I don't mind a unicorn. Exciting to see what you get and do 😁 My fave ones was the colour shift dragon, but theglow in the dark was the best, would love to see more glow in the dark ones with other colours too - if possible ❤❤

I love how they used as lest amount of plastic as possible and waste!! usually everything comes in a big plastic bag with there own smaller plastic bags but Elmers is stepping up their game! I'm definitely going to be buying some for myself and for my neices and nephews!

I love these. It's amazing how everything is reusable. The creatures are gorgeous too. My favourite animal is cat but from this set my favourites are the bunny molds.

From Nana's helpful hints: When filling a mold that isn't lined with mica, put some of the material in the mold and guide it into the smallest spaces. Fill then using a !!BaKiNg!!🧁technique, tap tap tap the mold on the table to help the bubbles rise. Is is especially helpful if you have an area in the mold that might capture a bubble from below by being more narrow than the bottom.

did i just see that each mould is numbered? that is so awesome, that way you know if you had doubles before actually making them

I don’t know what Pat’s hobbies are but for two people who share artisticness you definitely make this seem like a good couple activity as with a couple who both play instruments or something

Wow. There was like... no complaints. Only air bubbles occasionally, but that's not bad. Elmer's impressed me a ton with this!

I bet you could even patch those with a toothpick and some careful solution application - though they might pop back out, depending on how well new solution bonds to cured solution.

I love love the derpy frog and the fire breathing chicken. That one reminded me of the channel that they do Hot Ones on. The three experimental ones were fantastic! My favorite is the color shift purple. I’m a purple kinda gal. Love your vids Jackie. Thank you for this one. It’s SO completely opposite of what Crayola would bring. Love this!

I bought one of these for my daughter after watching your first video on them, and she loves it so much that I'm planning on buying her a big kit of them for her birthday this year. She got Angus, the grumpy looking elephant, and I secretly hope she gets the fire breathing chicken!

The owl with a human face reminds me of the Astrids from the Fablehaven series! What a fun kit! 😊

@@39Bosski I think there is a griffin in the pack, but that one had an all owl body, not half lion like a griffin. Astrids, at least in Fablehaven, are described as golden owls with human faces. They also have the ability to transform into full size humans with wings. I don't know if they are actual mythical creatures or just made up by the author, but they have always fascinated me. 😊

yesss i got one of these squishy kits a while ago and i was very impressed by it tbh! these are a perfect introductory project for kids or anyone who wants to get into mold making and casting without spending a lot of money on materials. the molds are great too, the characters are appealing and well sculpted with a lot of personality. i actually really want to know what the “secret solution” is. did elmer’s tell you what it is? is it silicone? it must be some sort of silicone right?? whatever it is, it’s a nice and easy material to work with. my squishy turned out good with only a few tiny air bubbles. the only complaint i have about this product is that my squishy had a LOT of flashing around the mold line and i had to carefully trim it off. i feel like maybe they could probably have made the mold snap together more tightly so less material leaks out of it? these are still awesome though

What a fun and well thought out project. It's definitely something that both children and adults can enjoy. As for picking a favorite, it's hard to choose because they're all so cute and unique. But if I had to pick, I would go with Milo the penguin. I absolutely adore penguins, and Milo is the name of my umbrella cockatoo. Love my feather baby to bits! 🥰🥰🥰

A couple of critiques on these instructions. I am suprised they didnt mention, maybe a way to avoid air bubbles. Also the extra compound waisted seems to be something they could have mentioned that we could add the exess to our own mold to make a base or something. These are minor details i notised, however these are many kilometers ahead of crapola.

Those are so adorable! I wish the molds could be used for resin though. Imagine the possibilities!

I like putting the goo in different molds. I made really cute glow in the dark gummy bear squishies!

yeah plastic cups are pretty easily reusable. I have a set of cups I use for making mold. I think I used them 20 times now no problem. I also love that the molds are reusable. I would love if the facial features where a littlebit more clear. but I still hope this product will reach germany sometime. I need the fox!

You can add your own glitter and mica powders with the solutions from the kits! They also work really well with silicon molds for resin. ^^

that is one of the best kits ive seen in a while, functional, easy instructions, reusable, includes everything, very nice!

I love the "Glow in the Dark " one. We are big fans here in this house from Glow in the Dark. I love that you really did every option you could do. So the company really could see maybe things they didn't even think of . I think every toy - diy- company should ask you to try their product. You are so very amazing. And my son really gets inspired by you. I can see it in his artwork he brings home from school. ( he has autism & adhd and never had fun in doing art at school . But eversince we discovered your account, he gets more and more into art ) . So, as a mother from a son with autism & adhd . I thank you for showing him how to do things and that it is okay to let yourself go in the artworks that you make.

I think the second creature unmolded is a Sphinx perhaps? Part man, part bird, part lion. Don't hold me to that though, my brain is full of mythical creatures but it's not always the best at putting a name to a face. This kit looks like a lot of fun though. I wonder if you could tap the molds on the table to shake out some bubbles before you scrap the bottom? You do something similar when baking macarons, and I've seen people do it with resin and other stuff

I believe this channel is great because it’s not just for kids, these things are genuinely interesting and proof adults can enjoy creative things too

They did a great job with the moulds. They will appeal to a wide age range. I love that the moulds look sturdy ans can be reused. You could probably use them with variety of other things

This does look really cute. My littles are still a little too little (atleast 3 of my kids would try to eat these) So maybe a fun project with the older 3 kiddos. I'm not a fan of moshi squishies because they do tend to have that slightly sticky texture I don't like, but, I have discovered you can cure that up by tossing them in a bit of corn starch

These do seem very fun to do. It reminds me of the cool maker toys we had in the 80’s! Great video Jackie!!❤❤❤
