I decided to make a video of the final boss since you can't fight her in the Battle Mountain.
When I first fought this thing I was surprised at how overwhelming she was, I was continuously dying and felt that I needed extremely good luck in order to beat any of the phases, turns out, it was because I was playing bad.
Before beating her for the first time in Epic I was prioritizing health and defense stats in my equipment, regardless of the element because I tought that since Godcat can do an array of attacks of different elements it was not worthy to focus only on one of them, turns out that mindset is incredible wrong, even though you can't possible cover everything across all characters you should focus on the resistance to the strongest attacks (Holy and Dark) since those are the ones more likely to kill you, and every other one should be accounted for with any spare equipment that could give you a little bit of resistance and with the defense buffs in the magic and physical departments. After doing the appropiate changes in my strategy Godcat was much, much more easy than the first time I beat her.
I also cannot believe I forgot about the evade buff all this time, I honestly wonder how different all of the boss rushes (besides Dark Players) would have been if I implemented that strategy in them.
In the gaps between the boss rushes I was completing the game on a different savefile a second and third time to get the medals corresponding to those objectives for the sole reason of showing my full display of medals at the end.
This game was honestly a blast, had a lot of fun and made me feel extremely happy with all the practice, routing and testing I did in the boss rushes, definitely want to do Epic Battle Fantasy 5 in a future but for the moment I think I will focus on other proyects.
