And for those curious, I only had 3 Old Keys. (I get one every time I go around, and always checked "Keep Items", so I have a little counter of how many 'New Game+'s I've done.)
Yeah I was a little bored and wanted to make him suffer for those having trouble. Then again, I never seemed to have trouble on him. Anyway, if you're trying to win for the first time, try starting like this, It's a good start. If you're still having trouble, get him alone all the time. If he summons Cosmic Monolith (which thankfully I didn't seem to have trouble with) max dark defense. When it uses Doomsday you'll get healed, and most of the time it'll probably hurt Akron. So until it starts healing it's a win-win.
Sad though...I probably could've done a bit faster. Kinda forgot what I was doing for a second on Natz' turn, heh. But yeah, Akron is absurdly easy to speed kill. Give Matt all the bacon you can, then hit really hard.
I originally wanted to have Akron beating the crap outa me to "We're not gonna take it" then give him a beat down, but I thought that too much work. I might go through a couple more times so I can do it without needing him to be on Holy element at the start, took a bit for me to do it because he just had the wrong element again and again.

If anyone wants to ask why those equips:
Max damage for Matt.
Staff on Nat keeps MP high with attack, hat lets her have tons of HP, pope dress probably should've been white mage dress, but whatever.
Attack gives Lance MP with Ark Angel, gas mask for random poison damage (which helped a bit) and random airstrikes are awesome.
If you've still got questions, tough. I'm busy killing Akron again. (Maybe I can get so he dies in 1 cleaver, and nothing else. =D)
All equips/abilities were maxed. Only the first time through would equips not be maxed if ever, and abilities are easy to max. (For those having trouble getting cash, fight the Zombie Hydras in Space. TONS of cash. Especially the dual-zombie-hydra one. EPIC cash.)

Just tried to beat Akron. Everyone on my team died to the Cosmic Monolith he summoned, then the Victory cutscene started playing because he died immediately afterward from poison. Feels weird man

@@iancatolico1795 The level cap is 30 in the first playthrough, but when starting New Game Plus you can turn off the level cap. I assume it goes to 99 or something

I’ve had to have replayed this over 20 times and I never noticed Akron actually goes through numerous changes as he takes damage. Guess I never noticed cause it takes me forever to do any damage to him at all

It seemed as he had as much health as a bush or a slime, the two weakest creatures of this game.
I just remembered when I drew Akron then I sprayed perfume at him then I keep scratching to smell it then it died...YAY I FINISHED THE GAME AGAIN
That was the arrival of God. Then he left to become Sand Man.
@sandman366 Actually a lot of enemies have extra status effects added to some of their attacks, for instance the dark monolith can cause the Instant Death effect with his super-attack on Epic but not on easier settings (though he still does a ton of damage).

Actually, I still have EBF3's beta version as a local file. With debug menu which can give you hax. But that version does not state "Kongregate" in the lower right corner

@runescapekillerful I'm thinking of starting an old fashion new game on epic and showing all of the fights required to continue, probably skipping Death's area since most people wouldn't have that open when doing on epic.
@runescapekillerful Cap is 30 until you hit "no level limit" on the New Game+ thing, so yeah. The only things that seem to change on epic is enemy stats (and some come out with buffs, like some stuff that eats poison damage starts out poisoned). Akron on Epic was strangely easy on my normal new game though, I beat him before he finished his lines, and without him summoning a monolith too. If you decide to play through it again though, good luck. (I can give some tips for bosses and such too)
Man!! the Soul Eater is just devestating, having it at lvl 4-5, using a beer to buff attack dmg and than cleaver or even unleash will shred any boss in seconds.. I think its a bit to op. XD

...The lines they were saying only appear once. Kyun, Nuke, and getting hit (both Matt and Lance). Do they reset when you load the game or something? My computer didn't like to keep my saves, so I never did that. Lost a save halfway through the game, in fact...

I was playing it on NewGrounds but when I got to the ancient ruins I got two of the stones and when I try to put them for the doors it didn't work so it won't work for me I can't get to the final boss 😭😫

I put all atk items on Matt maxed out weps I hugged him to max debuffed max used limit break and got crit :)

New Game+ lets you keep your stats, and you can just keep playing through again and again until you have the stats to go through him even faster than this. (I admit to not having tried this, but it's also been some time since I've played.)
Such a big hack, first of all how the heck did u get your characters up to level 34?! 2nd. wasn't epic mode to little damage being taken

Answer: after defeating akron you can start the game again but with all your stuff and levels and the level cap is raised
Perhaps your comp runs the game slower?

Try "New Game +" mode.
When you get all the medals you can level up frely (of course with killing monsters) , did you know that?

I don't even know which computer this save was on anymore, to try looking at what I had. I vaguely recall that I think I tried playing through the game again, from scratch, on Epic, without even using stat boosting items....was a little stuck at the three-headed dragon when I stopped playing.
its not cheat he is lvl 34 and clicking so fast but game is not fast and he played again the game with 30 lvl so he can build 34
fake one ..he cheat .. this game got level limits right? and he speed up the game ...the game is not so fast ..And all the stat are cheat
