i think there must be some pragmatics reasons , like an ultra precise calculation of the costs, the money management. but still i also noticed it's happen often they seem to not want to build some spores. even me i build at least one per base @@thisisanewchannel-wd7jl

They don't go spores because they think not enough drones don't like the economic damage of losing a drones and 125? Minerals per spore. This game it definitely would have been worth it though - or even just one on the natural by the cliff somewhere, reduce/prevent frontal attacks, defend some of the outer space create a safe spot to put overlords. Normally terrans only briefly wraith harass though not like this so the worry is 2 spores (350 ish minerals + consider early lost mining from the drones used) and they switch into ground and steam roll you. Wrong decision this game for sure though

as a zerg fan, in the first 15 mins I was literally shouting "get a spore, just like how terran build turrets defend against mutalisks!"

A single spore on each base is enough to shut down the wraith harassment. From an economics standpoint, a single spore would save scores of drones and ovies; and also prevent being supply blocked. The ROI of a spore is just so phenomenal, its a wonder why Zerg could not spare a measly 125 minerals.

Both players were amazing. That was one of the best games I have seen in a while. I think red was getting a little mental fatigue later game, where as the zerg just played the same throughout the whole match. Red was a very skillful aggressive player 3/4 throughout until he got stuck. That was the best use of wraiths I have ever seen, 2 Valkyries earlier in for some pop in support with the wraiths might have shook things up a little more for blue. The micro between the two was first class. Very cool match.

Yeah the mental fatigue comment is on point. Back when I used to play SC, I noticed that if you could outlast those opponents who were super-aggressive at the beginning, they often just kind of lose their focus and get kind of lost as the game drags on.

Man so disappointing to see another early lead by terran squandered due to bad tactics. Zerg had 11 drones at one point to his 36 scvs. Once wraith harass gets you that huge lead, don't blow it by building valkyries to counter what you knew the zerg was going to build to stop your wraiths! Instead, he should have been building up his marine medic groups anticipating the zerg would be building counters to his wraiths. You can actually one base this transition!

Now I wanna see more games with this pair

And of course a single zoning spore in the natural would have shutdown the boxer maneuver 20 min later. Zerg always play if their mindset is "I'm going to be perfect from here on."

Habits are something you need to obtain. But since they rely on skills they're downplaying "easy mode".

Why not build spore colony early on?

This proves it! Zerg players are allergic to static defense! Made his first spore colony after 16 minutes 😂

2024 with this start is so remarkable! If you can eat this game, it would be so so delicious.

For god sake zergs, build 2 fucking spore if it is against cloak wraights. This guy lost like million drones and overloads, because he did not invest 350 mineral to this. Very back and forth game, really enjoyed it :)

BUILD. A. SPORE. The nat would have been so much more defensible with a single spore colony in it but no instead we just muta muta muta and instead of losing one drone (price of spore) you lose six and a bunch of overlords to wraiths

So many frustrating moves by the Terran player here, holy shit. Mistakes keep repeating themselves over and over, inflexibly never changing up his strategy either. Zerg won this half-way through.

FRANKLY though....would be NICE if SPAIN would play a MORE active role in NATO. THAT is a political point, and I am sorry, but yeah, Spain comes off as LAZY, in global affairs. Madrid has Interpol, trade, banking, etc. But we never hear much from Spain. THAT I have noticed.

Terran is the most cheesy race

Actually, wraiths are air superiority fighters and will win in a fair or even semi fair fight against mutalisks. Wraiths also have better acceleration so a good micro player can easily win engagements where he is massively outnumbered by mutas as long as he has 1) cloak and 2) good micro around overlords. But it's a lost art these days.

I dont get the bio from terran... why not go full mech after the wraiths.... totally stupid... and then running around the zerg spells and plaques, dying like mosquitos.

Probably the worst game I saw in a while... Seems to me the two players took a page out a starcraft text book saying ''You must attack the enemy'' And they followed it. No matter anything else...

I can’t take the weird childish voices and moaning/groaning from this dude :/ to each their own I guess
