Isn't hussar good for slavs vs monks? They have good farming making them "cheaper", and they hard counter monks, and even obuch won't stop them since they don't really depend on armor but rather speed (and just are relatively disposable).

I think kipchek are a highly skill dependent unit. Even more than most CA units they really benefit from pro-tier micro. And as you drop down they get get increasingly underwhelming due to players not really having the understanding/skill to play around the 6 range or to end games before both/all players get to post-imp (chuks have this problem a touch too - an underappreciated reason Chinese are less good at lower Elo rating imo - but they're stronger in terms of raw stats for the same cost and Chinese aren't designed around mobility so it is a smaller weakness at lower levels than in the case kipchek)

At around 30:00 you had advantage, but viper you made very little army. Needed to press the army quickly. I think 100 for army is a good number.

obuch removing armor on boyar isnt a big deal, sure they remove it, but they still do like no damage before the armor is removed. The cost efficientcy is insane. its similar to why teuton knights destroy obuch, just not as hard. A better reason is probably the easy swap to halb.

It's not 1v1 man, 3 or 4 obuch attacking one boyar would completely removed their armor, they also retain that armor removal until they got fully healed by monk

Cav archer is definitely a throw, how can you not make keshik as tatars? You can go so long without trade and they're fully upgraded much faster.

Cav archer and 19 range trebuchet are that TG main composition while the paired ally makes melee units to tank and siege. You can't go same army composition. Keshiks need castles to produce and they will completely throw the game against Obuchs, Halbs, Poles Cavaliers, and Battle Elephants as Trebuchets also need castle to produce. The Tatars player was also flank, it's hard to get into UU. So many castles were destroyed to maintain the position, even after getting stone slung. Cav archers are a better raiding unit than Keshiks, especially at eliminating trade carts. They can also hit and run, and if they can minimalize losses, they save resources to sling others. The reason they lost because they lacked bombard cannon civs while the opponent had all four bombard cannon civs with Teutons conversion resistance, allowing mediocre civs to freely mass mere Onagers

@@theobald_indoaoe Viper has SO or scorps for obuch, you can see in multiple occassion the cav archers just running around dodging bbc. Viper also slung him all his stone if he build 3 safe castles he would have no problem massing. The problem is further exasperated because they both make comp that dies to onagers and bbc i.e champs and cav archers
