WOW, that's a hail storm, I had to get plow truck for hail 3 inches deep on road, it don't melt that fast, retired from NC DOT in western part of state, hello Opie and Troy glad your with Dad. 🤗

I came through a bad hailstorm in Nebraska last week . My semi took a good amount of damage. First insurance claim in four years of O/O.

Kurt you handled that hail storm great. There were areas in Omaha that got rivers of hail going down streets and lots of shredded trees and houses. If my dad had someone cut around like that, the whole of Council Bluffs would have heard a blue streak. FYI-I saw a picture of hail in Central Nebraska that was several inches deep so we faired well in Omaha compared to some other areas. Safe travels for everyone out there. Praying for you and especially Dad and his care team.

I have seen some crazy stuff in my life time but parking on the interstate in a hail storm is uncalled for .

It's the neighbors she hates. My Jack Russell now is terrified of almost everything, she would have freaked out through that storm. At least the rained washed away the bugs! Lol

Wow I lost a windshield in my Freightliner cabover by Madison WISCONSIN years ago with hail that size no fun my lap was covered in glass .

We just loved the 4 wheel truck 🛻 that braked in front of you while pulling off to the side. We could not believe that that one underpass, but several on both sides. Kinda hope that semi had his cb on but nope, didn’t want to hear 👂 the explicit words from everyone. Can’t win with inconsiderate people

When it get the size of baseball's then that's when damage really gets expensive. I've been in hailstorm that beat my car, truck, and house roof to death. I had to file insurance claims. Snow plows to move ice off the road. I've seen parking lots completely covered in hail stones the size of peas. I hope all.is well on the home front weather wise. Prayers for your dad. Hail is usually associated with tornados Glad u and Troy are ok.

People don't realize the danger they put themselves in and others stopping like that under a bridge on the interstate get off the interstate to stop.

What the Hail? Those were some nasty storms. I was flying through that area that night on the way to Las Vegas. There was a narrow gap over Salinas that every airplane snuck through. Otherwise, all of Kansas and Nebraska was super ugly. I was thinking about you and Opie going through there wondering if you were out in it. Have fun trucking with Troy. Great kid!

Was in hail storm, largest I have ever personally seen, going through Oklahoma City one evening, cars were stopping under the bridges, later learned 4 people died in a tornado that went through

I've been there driving and it's hail and people are going slow or stop in the road way when your trying to go... there's only once I've had to stop on the shoulder of the interstate because it hailed do much it was hard to see and was covering the interstate in a couple inches of hailed stones
