Thank you for your great review of those bikes. I have an 2021 Ultra Limited and I’m thinking about some lighter ride and I have some doubts about the Road King versus Fat Boy. I’m 62 years old, 212 pounds, 6.2 ft. I like the FB looks, it’s gorgeous. But, the RK suits my riding style better, since I’m riding solo most of the time. I ride my UL around town, and man, that machine is heavy!!!I It is my first Harley. Also I do some traveling with my MC’s buddies. Congrats from Brasilia, Brasil 🇧🇷😀!

Talk about a thorough review, good vid man. I mainly wanted to find a video like this because I’m super torn between a fatboy or road glide. I want to do a cross country trip, but I won’t be able to do much more touring after that. Realistically, I’d get more use out of the fatboy day to day, but man those road glides are nice. I’m also 250 at 5’10, in case that helps in deciding 😂

I’m glad you enjoyed the video..I do these videos cause my clients do these debates all the time when trying to purchase a bike. These videos really help…I have been across country a few times and a Fatboy ain’t gonna cut it..lol What happened to where you have to stop touring? Fatboy are really cool and functional bikes for around town. What part of the country try are you in?

@@stogicide yeah I can imagine the fatboy getting tiring after a while😂. As for touring, I’ll have a lot of free time next year, but afterwards I’ll be starting my career in engineering. I already have a Vrod, so having two muscle cruisers doesn’t make too much sense. I’m also born and raised in New Orleans, so I could realistically go to either coast when I take my trip

Thank you for the video. I am also undecided on which bike to upgrade. I have a 2019 low rider. I live in New York city but when I ride I go upstate where there’s less traffic and more country to see. I would consider traveling up on the bike to Saratoga Springs or Lake George which is about 3 1/2 hours away. I’m 5’6” so don’t know if that makes a difference on the size and weight of the bike. Any feedback would be appreciated thanks.

I’m glad you enjoyed the video…At 5’ 6” you would absolutely fit in a Road King. You might have to have it lowered an inch maybe but you would need to see how you fit on the bike. I think the road king because you are about to adventure into longer touring rides. Even though you can do that with the Fatboy that is not what it is designed for. That touring frame on the road king is going to make for a smoother ride and the suspension is better for what you’re doing… Finally, the road king is set up perfectly for your ride from the city to upstate. Plus those bags would come in hand, I promise you! I am from Miami and I have ridden upstate NY and it is very scenic riding. I hope you like my suggestions and keep watching the channel.

I'm wondering if Harley ever corrected the problem with the fat boy's uneven front tire wear. I had a 2018 Fatboy which I end up trading in because I was burning through front tires every 3,000 MI

@@lonewolfrides314 all I know is that they change it …Don’t know the exact details. It was discussed when they went to the disc plates rims that allowed air thru
