i was first called to the craft when i felt called to buy my first tarot deck almost three years ago. for a while the deck sat on my shelf untouched as i didn't have much knowledge on how to use it. today i have an ever growing collection of tarot and oracle with 10+ decks and growing, have recently unblocked my third eye chakra and i am a much better divinator today because i did not give up on my calling. it is definitely my favorite practice so far and i'm excited to continue on my path 🔮✨

About 30 years ago I worked 11 to 7 shifts on a hospital PBX. There was nothing to do between midnight and 6 am. I brought in my Tarot cards one evening and did 8 spreads for myself asking the same question each time. (Even though I am a believer I have those skeptics running around in my head) I was curious to see if I could prove to myself if this was fact or fiction. I started the cards in order. I started the cards mixed up. I shuffled the cards for up to an hour. What amazed me was in all 8 spreads almost all contained the exact same cards in the same order each time. The few times a different card came up it held a very similar meaning. Logic told me statistically that happening is impossible. Spirit told me it was true.

Can I play it by myself?

Tarot was the tool to help me onto my path. I bought a Ryder Waite deck from a bookstore. It knew my name, so I brought it home with me. I was 16. Since then I have learned to use runes, pendulums and oracle cards. I have a Ouija board, but haven't used it in a while. I have not learned scrying, palmistry, tea leaves or crystal gazing yet. Life is a journey and an adventure. Try what speaks to you, use what works for you, and remember that sometimes a person or situation requires something different that what you usually use.

Bit of Dream Alchemist me, have been from before my birth. I do enjoy it despite sometimes it can be trippy but I wouldn't have it any other way😴. I was told by a few highly spiritual people not to mess with a ouija board not because it was evil, but that the lower entities use it to gain entrance. These entities are easier to access and often just want attention or for you to do favors for them in return for information. And that higher vibrational beings won't come in through these. This one add said she had to go try to exercise an entity from a lady to whom it attached and wouldn't eave her alone. Scary thought. But I used it quite a bit in high school and thought it was cool but freaky scary too.

Growing up, I’m my family’s tradition, the pendulum would circle for a female and would move in a straight line for male, this was used more on livestock and eggs but when the random cousin was pregnant it was a fun too.

My Great Grandmother would use a needle on thread. Circle for female back and forth fir male. When done for me it was correct, female 😊

Most of my life things have come in dreams and I keep a dream journal. I'm currently learning tarot. I'm interested in dabbling in many forms of divination. Perhaps I'll be surprised at which ones work best for me.

I use tarot and oracle cards for divination and rituals. I enjoy scrying by staring into the sky or nature (trees, leaves, bushes).

Very good episode my three would be dreams, putting myself into visionary trance, and one that you did not mention the use of a dice board :)

The more I am enlightened the more I realized I was raised by a witch. My stepfather used to do a lot of these different things with us kids. I thought they were just tricks and things. He used to use pendulums, what he called ghostwriting, as a matter of fact he's the one that got me into clouds and fire as well. That was 48 years ago till 2014. Good Times great memories. So mote it be.

I started practicing divination when I was 19 I like one where you got a glass or crystal bowl whisking your finger clockwise asking to bless then another time to purify the water then thinking of the question Grad a candle that calls out to you in color light it hold it over the water pondering on the question as the wax drips some time its like an laters or it clump into a ball then flip it over and it an answer a sign or symbol I love divination

Wow, I always recommend your channel because how you put your content like a pro learning course. This is pretty neat explanation. I use dominoes/bone as one of my tools that seems unusual or rare. This is where I incline numerology, more like oracle message.

Final layers: I need to preface this with the information that my personal interpretations heavily inform this part of the picture. In Northern Hemisphere Witchcraft; the Rod is associated with Lightning and viewed as "Airy"; while the Sword or Knife is associated with Iron and Forging and viewed as "Fiery". I agree with these associations and the following arrangement of the pips follows suit. This changes the associations of the "small" - really the most complex - cards away from those of a standard deck aligned with Waite or Crowley. I also arrange the pips in alignment with the progressions of the Pythagorean Tetraktys (whence we get the Pentagram) and the Qabbalistic Tree. Aces are "Wellsprings of Energy"; 2 - 4 (aligned with the most rarified forms of these energies) are Fixed; 5 - 7 (as causes of change) are Cardinal and 8 - 10 (as closest to the Manifest or physical) are Mutable. So, Take the 5 - 7 of Rods and lay them outside and lined up with Justice; 5-7 of Swords align similarly with The Emperor. 5 - 7 of Cups align with the Chariot and the 5 - 7 of Coins/Pentacles/Stones align with the Devil. The first number of a group of cards associates with the Ruling Planet of the Sign that the associated Trump card depicts so, the 5 of Stones represents Saturn in Capricorn. The Six represents Mercury in Capricorn (ruler of mutable Virgo) while the Seven represents Venus in Capricorn. The other groups of three pips associate likewise with the planets in their clusters of signs. The 2 - 4 of Rods aligns with the Star; The 2 - 4 of Swords associates with Strength; the 2 - 4 of Cups associates with Death and the 2 - 4 of Coins associate with the Priest. Finally the 8 - 10 of Rods associate with the Lover; the 8 - 10 of Swords associate with Temperance; the 8 - 10 of Cups associate with the Moon and finally, the 8 - 10 of Coins associate with the Hermit. When you have this group of cards laid out, you have a ring of 36 pips outside your Zodiac.

There is no archeological evidence Vikings used stone runes as divination but talismans. No less powerful or wrong to use as divination tools but to clarify time period. Volva used thread and knots for divination. Great video brother!

Ok then; These layouts use any standard tarot deck. My personal favorite is the Templar Tarot but nearly any deck that is reasonably complete in its symbolic language should serve well: The first cards to look at are called "The Supernals" - these are the central three Trumps of any deck - The Fool; The Hanged Man and Judgment. Arrange these in a triangle with the Fool at the top and The Hanged Man and Judgment at lower left and right, respectively. If you happen to be using the Templar deck, you know that you have a "Second Fool" called The Magic Flute. If you have it, place this card at the center of your triangle. Now consider the relationships between these cards. All of the Triples we commonly associate with Western Occultism can be lined up with this triple: Land, Sea, Sky; Gwynnfedd, Abredd, Annwfn; Birth, Life, Death; The Three Initiation Stages and the Three Admissions (in TIW these are separate concepts) ; The Dog, Lapwing and Roebuck- which relate both to life development and to the Initiation Process. Again, if you have the Magic Flute card; it can be seen as the desirable summation of everything I've started to illustrate above.

I use tarot cards and have a nice collection of both tarot and oracle cards. But I've only been practicing for approximately a year. I love tarot but I continue to not understand the minor arcana and hope to find someone who may clarify the minor arcana cards.

Hello, I literally just started researching my journey into Wicca and Witchcraft at the age of 43! Is that crazy? Anyway, I am so grateful that I came upon this Vlog stream. So much historical information and practical advice which makes me want to dwell into this wonderful world more and more. I was surprised to discover that Witchcraft and Wicca is actually a very peaceful practice, which is the opposite of what myself (and many others) would be lead to believe. Can I please ask, is there a reason why so many Witches wear black clothing? I know that your choice of clothing has no implication of the person you are, I was just curious to see if true Witches were lead in this direction? Again, please forgive my silly question. I am buying the books, and the herbs and slowly I am starting to see that Wicca and Witchcraft has a place throughout history and it is very enlightening. Thank you!

I personally love the color black because I'm a metal head at heart, and black is just rock n roll, LoL. Other witches I think are drawn to the color black because it is the color that is void of all colors and holds mystery in it's essence. The mystery is what they embrace, the unknown and the world of spirit. All associated with black.

i have a Ouija board i use for my mouse pad, and i have a Ouija blanket as my table cloth, the planchette is in my drawer, and my mouse is my planchette, if that tells you anything

I only have once tried a ouija board on self made based many many years ago 👉🏻fun fact: that's where I‘ve got your name from 😲👈🏻 I suppressed it for years and actually still do (with numbing) but it's getting stronger and I was drawn to making some divination tools (runes out of wood, stones and other stuff with distinct symbols, cards with gematria) but I didn't use it yet.... 🙄 Still working on a pendulum, wand, other definition cards and a book to remember all the input. can I also make tarot cards on my own or do that not work? and have you an advise to get over the self doubt and using the tools? aahhhhh its like I still have a million questions......

Oracle cards can be used in same spreads but there is no set definition. Usually they have a guide for each card but using your intuition is best. Oracle is about the feeling, the psychic gift, the imagery and the question.

Ty for this one, I didn't know there was an actual name to what it is I do! Honestly until talking w/ my husband about it I thought everyone did it! Oh im sry by " IT. " I mean I see people right before I go to sleep im fully aware of my surroundings so I know im not asleep yet! I told him I was so tired because I couldn't help but watch these people shopping, arguing, laughing, crying. Theres never sounds or color its always in black and white . but maybe someone here can help me because idk why im seeing these people? Are they living are they the dead trying to tell me something? I can hear the dead when they want to be heard! They speak to me but it Always takes me by surprise so I never answer back ! Im scared to turn it on because idk how to turn it off! Anyone got any ideas?
