Ep3 | Beaulieu or Bust? | Austin 7 Roadtrip
We're off to the New Forest for Part One of our National Austin 7 Rally Adventure. Buckle up with Beth and Liam for a comedy journey through the Cotswolds.
We're the caretakers of the Pre-War Austin 7 Club's 1933 RP Box Saloon, which is currently being looked after as part of the Classic Car Loan Project. We're trying to enjoy the car as much as possible whilst the weather's good, and we're still allowed to go to events!!

Highly impressed that two so young are into cars that are so old. Of course a thing of beauty is a joy forever. 😊
I owned a 1936 Austin seven ruby in 1967-8 ish, as a daily driver, in Wanganui, New Zealand. My first car, happy memories.
Driving is not the problem stopping the little bugger is !
I love your joyful enthusiasm, and good hummer. Looking forward to seeing more adventures.
Pleased you're enjoying the car - it's one I've been familiar with for many years. The main thing is that you're using the car in the way it was intended to be used - i.e. driven! My Austin Nippy is also a much used model which does several 1000 miles a year and has been on many a long adventure. Hopefully, we'll be able to meet up at some point in the not too distant future?...
Its great to see you both enjoying the little car. So glad that the Classic Car Loan Project exists. Its a great idea.
such a lovely car i have an Austin A30 great fun, you are brave to attempt a long trip
ALL Austin 7s had oodles of character in a way that few others could claim - simply because so many people had one as their first car and so many of them were given names by the owners e.g., Ethel, Sadie, Edgar, Oscar, Millicent. Try naming characterless Japanese cars today; It just doesn't work!
Well done! Your first big adventure in the car; nothing else will faze you now!
Great timing! My little oo gauge Austin 7 has arrived in the mail! Great video too mate
Brilliant, you make a great team. And now I want an A7 they are so cute. 🍻👏👍😂
What a lovely chanel, car, couple, video, everything lovely! Subscribed!
Well done you, the furthest I've been in mine in one go is 55 miles, it only took 40 minutes longer than a modern car
I'm jealous.. you have a ruby,, and I don't. Love the car.

Ruby is a couple of years later but very similar experience . For a tall person Ruby is easier to get in and out
I have just applied for an Austin through the scheme, fingers crossed and jolly well done on the series.

Great fun once you get use to a few weird things . Like use the hand brake to stop first then the foot brake
Very nice.
I've driven Morris minor and Austin a35 does your wee car have hydrolic brakes ? I really like the look of the seven , looks similar to drive to the 50s Austin's?

I would use A30 not the M3 It would be too slow on the Motorway although they cruise at 40/45
