    I believe on the wide body, the 2 washer screws are in a slightly different spot. They are out of sight, tucked up in right above each shock.

    @@shperax you’re right, in behind each side panel at the nose above each shock location, just took them out of my mach today while getting to the headlamp fairing. There’s more than just those 2 that had washers so hopefully I can figure out where they went when putting it back together lol.

    Is there still foam under the hood you should remove on the 2021 expert turbo? When I got my last new sled the 2017 Summit you had a video out showing how to remove it all. I will soon get my new 2021 Turbo expert and would like to know if there still is something you can remove? Also a big thank you for all the great work you put out there for us.

    I remove all the acoustical foam to allow for better air circulation and prevent water from being soaked up adding weight. It's important to use foil on the underside of the hood where it is closest to the pipe to prevent melting of the plastic parts. Happy sledding.

    Hey Bret, this video gives me hope! I just bought a new to me 2021 Exp SE 900 ACE Turbo and am looking for tips on doing just the basic maintenance. I've seen and read so many very complicated videos. I just want to ask, will my sled be the same process as you show here? Thanks.

    very helpful video! Just wondering if you have taken the top half of the air box off on one of these gen 4s? I cracked the top of mine and need to replace it. I have the part ordered but I cant seem to get the top half off. Ive searched and removed all the bolts (from what I can see) and when i push any of the 3 tabs that hold the top to the bottom half, it still seems super solid! hope you might have some advice, my sled is a 2020 and i don't even have it a week and this happened.

    Fs i cant even get my hood back on… the rear clips by the gas tank wont quite reach. Like half inch away… its the air box boot. Seems like it wont sear properly,,,, when i took it off. The boot was still on the hood,,, not on the air box itself

  • @RideRasmussenStyle

    @RideRasmussenStyle

    2 жыл бұрын

    SO... It sounds like you need to move the rubber boot from the hood to the air box where it should go. Make sure the hose clamp is properly loosened. I like to leave the clamp loose enough that I can slide the hood on and off at will without the need to ever loosen or tighten the clamp. I've never tried it, but I suppose it would be fine to permanently remove the hose clamp. Good luck.
