While traveling around Switzerland we made it to Kandersteg, just south of Interlaken, and hiked around the amazing Oeschinensee (Oeschinen lake) panorama trail!
We didn’t initially intend to go to Kandersteg in our travels but we were suggested to go there by some fellow Aussies we met at the previous campsite. The place did not disappoint, what an amazing experience to be amongst the Swiss alps surrounded by mountains!
The Oeschinen lake panorama trail is an 8.5km loop that overlooks the turquoise lake. It is surrounded by jagged peaks and picturesque green slopes, a must do hike when in the Interlaken area.
