These podcasts are real. I’m in awe that I lived to experience the body of Christ facilitating conversations that target the whole man/woman. Well done, Bishop for allowing God to use you to penetrate areas in our lives that were void of ministry 👏👏

My husband who recently passed was a man of few words. He demonstrated what man hood looked like without words but action. My son had the best teacher a young man could have. He was a provider, teacher and proud. Young people seem to need words to communicate. The young man in the middle speaking about his dad and mother has it right!

I absolutely enjoyed this podcast. The men were vulnerable and raw. I've never heard of the podcast or of you Bishop...however facebook led me here and I know that was nothing but God. I'm a subscriber now.

I enjoyed the conversation in general but the Ruth and Boaz doctrine seem to be a bit off. Ruth did the opposite of showing up and shutting up. She cleaned up, She positioned herself in a proper environment for intimate conversation and then she spoke up.

Great conversation.... I love to hear men share their hearts, they desire intimacy and what we as WOG can do to support them!

Regarding having everything taken care of for your children I believe sounds good, but if the truth be told may handicap the child from developing self worth. In addition to that there is something to be said for allowing the child to develop a solid work ethic. Are we as people of color unknowingly competing and validating we are just as competent in providing as our white brothers and sister? Are we trying to set our kids up like we have seen them set their children up for life? If we have ever been in poverty this is particularly important to us. This is understandable, but not necessarily the best thing for the child. The drug and reported suicidal rate of these wealthy children is high in affluent counties because these children were given everything and as adults can not operate in the real world that does not. So please research, pray and rethink this parenting system. ( Trained Behavioral Scientist, MS JHU and parent of adult children.)

The Boaz illustration was not a good one. There's a place for both and telling a woman to show up and show up was not good.
