Thank you very much for this video. My observation is that even in Northern Nigeria now discharge and acquittal goes together especially as most states adopted the ACJA as their criminal administration laws. Secondly, by the provision of the ACJA, i think it is no longer mandatory that a defence counsel file a no case submission, the court can suomoto pass a ruling on no case submission.

You're welcome. Very well. Thanks for the insight. Per your second submission on no case, I haven't seen any such provision under ACJL. Please point me to it if you have it, because if the defense does not enter a no case, how will the prosecution reply, in order for the court to make a ruling?
