THE SERIES
In the series 'BRAZILIAN ECONOMY - The story told by those who made it' the trajectory of Brazil is told from the economic point of view by some of the main protagonists of the recent history of the country.
Ex-presidents of the Republic, ex-ministers, ex-leaders of the Central Bank, great businessmen, bankers, economists, historians, journalists and academics report the adventures and misfortunes of the country since 1,492 and discuss solutions for the Brazilian economy.
The agile cut, the simple language, the graphic animations and the archival images (historical paintings and works of art, period photographs and TV news images), make the Brazilian saga even more interesting.
In its first 388 years, Brazil was a slave; in the 1950s, 50% of Brazilians were illiterate; in the late 1980s, monthly inflation reached 84% and 35% were poor and miserable. In 2013 Brazil was the seventh largest economy in the world, inflation was 5.4%, poverty had been reduced to 12% and the country aspired to be rich. “Brazil is the country of the future” and “now Brazil will work”, mantras of the phases of optimism, have always been followed by crises. Success was, again, fleeting.

Péssimo documento. Não existe contraponto. É como esse modelo econômico que está em vigor ate hoje, tivesse dado certo. É muito envisado, reza a cartilha o tempo todo.
Apesar da corrupção que sempre continuou, mas o Brasil começou a respirar porque a concorrência começou no governo Collor. Foi a abertura da economia, a concorrência que acaba com a inflação.
Fernando Henrique é referência na econo m ia brasileira? RS. Ele é economista..? Mas parabéns, a qualidade dos vídeos é mto boa, até de se estranhar, mas um pouco tendenciosa na atualidade em que vivemos. O brasileiro está sedento de alguma coisa q venha a dar certo. Ele pode até ser um intelectual q tentou emplacar O Teatro das Tesouras no Brasil e pra mim é o grande mentor do País quase dar errado, por ter feito esse grande esquema e está fomentando e viabilizando grandes esquemas, inclusive, com Geoges Soros, sendo o padrinho dele aqui. Vc pelo q vi é uma das que quer q nosso País dê errado, pelos seus posts pessoais tendenciosos esquerdistas e combina, com certeza, a tutela do intitulado economistas, só q não, Filósofo idealizador do PT e da grande jogada política da Esquerda e da dita esquerda intelectual PSDBista do Brasil. Em que você baseou esta linha de raciocínio? É fácil escrever no chat, assistir ou ler um conteúdo e sair repetindo a torto e a direito o que acabou de se "aprender... Como se economia, sociologia e história política fossem as coisas das s mais simples . . Difícil mesmo é conter a vontade de escrever, estudar a fundo um determinado assunto, e principalmente reconhcer que não temos tempo para de fato estabelecer uma análise apropriada sobre estes temas, pois temos nossa vida para levar., isso sim.
