Hello dear Reena Singh, my nephew was diagnosed with autism spectrum , Asperger to be precise, since a while he is taking risperidone, but now he is going to take magnesium citrate, Is there any reaction between them?. I just found out that magnesium is every useful with kids and adults with ASD. is it true btw? thx u

I am an Occupational therapist and this is not under my domain of expertise. Magnesium helps to convert glutamate (stimulant) to GABA. This conversion helps in sleep issues with the kids I work with. I have no idea of the reaction between magnesium citrate and resperidone and a medical doctor can guide you better.

Hello ma'am, Ma'am mere bete ko mild autism diagnosis hua hai. Hyperactivity aur sensory issues main distraction hai uske. Abhi wo 2year 5 months ka hai. Aur wo pichhle 1 month se therapy k liye centre bhi jaa rha hai. But 1 problem hai k mera beta therapy centre me bilkul bhi co-operate nhi karta, wo waha pure session me sirf rota hai. Aur itna jyda rone se uske health pr effect padta hai aur wo OT room me vomit bhi kr deta h kabhi kabhi.Aur wahi same OT activities mai ghar pe krti hu uske sath to wo full cooperation deta hai aur maze bhi leta hai. So, plss ma'am aap suggest kijiye k me use physically centre lejakr therapy du ya fir online therapist se khud therapy Sikh kr bache pr apply karu. Pls ma'am do respond to this. I genuinely need help. Thank you

Thank you Reena Mam. When do you plan to conduct an online session for parents? I would like to attend. My kid has a lot of mouthing issue.He seems to do so in stressful conditions and also to focus, how can I help him come out of this.
