Thrown in the Fire- Firefighters spend their lives saving people from fire. Today I want to talk to you about three Hebrew boys who needed to be rescued from a fiery furnace. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Dan. chpt. 3)were thrown into a blazing furnace because they refused to worship the image of gold that King Nebucadnezzar had set up. The king was furious and ordered the furnace seven times hotter than usual. Are you facing a situation today that is more difficult than anything you have endured? I'm trying to imagine these three Hebrew boys facing an impossible, scary situation! The Bible says that the young men were walking around in the fire unbound and unharmed!! I want to encourage you today that you serve a God who is able to deliver you from the most difficult circumstance. Will you trust Him today that He is with you in the fire?
