Nadav definitely used undermining tones as if he thinks he is better or smarter than Bert.. Bert did hear him but the reason he said he couldn't is because something has been brewing between them.. Nadav knows what he did you could clearly see his blood started pumping but realised he is on camera so he changed his tone.. Bert backtracked because he felt abit of guilt when he jumped too quick by saying Nadav said fucking.. but he only added that word to express to us the way he feels about Nadav talking to him in that snide manner. Conclusion: Either Nadav comes to the terms that Bert is "basically" his boss too for this podcast or they need to stop talking to each on cam because it is unprofessional. P.s Bert smells so bad the kkk told him and Rex just to stay home and zoom their next meeting.

@@xXxBLINGO07xXx Nadav did sound a little snarky...but its a comedy podcast and not a typical boss/subordinate dynamic. I'm sure he has probably told Bert 1000 times to put his headphones on, and yet he still forgets. Bert also chose to make it a thing that Nadav is slow at Googling his asinine requests to the extent that its bled over into YMH as a joke. TLDR I know Bert is usually the butt of every joke (his own doing), but he doesn't need to flip out just because a subordinate corrected him so that he can assert authority.

It has taken me a donut eating episode to realise Bert is a real life version of Homer Simpson

Tom explains that he hates people that are "dream crushers" so he always tries to say yes and be supportive of peoples ideas. Not a bad quality at all. Its genuinely all on berts personality being toxic for himself. Tom just accepts Bert as he is.

So bizare watching this. I recently started covid binging Rogan, YMH and this. To watch them totally throw away all the gains from Sober October in one sitting for laughs... Amazing. I love these guys. Tom being that terrible influencing uncle to Bert, whos mentally and emotionally frozen at 19... This is true art! Thanks guys, for entertaining the masses during this time.

I've been slowly working through your episodes from episode 1 with my husband. This is one of my favorite episodes so far. I've laughed so hard and I also really enjoy the internal examination of self by Bert.

Bert doesn't realize that low calorie kool-aid has maltodextrin, which is high glycemic index, gets digested into glucose (sugar) so you're still eating sugar and spiking your insulin/blood sugar level

When Bert says “did you not hear me say 8 sec?”....I totally thought it was about to pop off again between him and Nadav...then the real talk happened. I have such mixed feelings about this. I feel Bert was the aggressor most of the time, and I definitely can’t fault Nadav for snapping back at him, but I do feel like I hear some very condescending vocal inflections coming from Nadav that I think Bert is picking up on. At the end, Bret basically admitted that he doesn't value what Nadav & other podcast producers, admins, etc. do because he supposedly has done it before himself. Bottom line, Brent's saying that he considers himself more important than people who he considers are "beneath him", therefor they don't deserve to be respected. Pretty f-ing arrogant really, considering he's B-level comedian.

@@georgechandler1647 Wrong on BOTH counts. 2B1C is a YMH production owed by Tim & Christine. Native is a YMH employee and Tom signs his paychecks, not Bart. Navdav has no ties to Chrysler whatsoever. Bart has his own group of lackeys on his tour bus and personal podcasts to berate. I'm sure Tom pays Bret more than fairly for appearing on 2B1C, plus any percentages for PPV / YT income, and merch sales. I highly doubt Brent has any percentage of 2B1C content ownership, though.

Next week when Bert's on Dr. Drew. Dr. Drew: I'm getting a negative cognitive bias, probably lack of emotional support in early childhood, possibly misunderstood positive reinforcement from adolescence, later developing into resentment over lack of reciprocal affection in later life. Bert: So, Kool-Aid isn't a problem, right? Hey did I tell you about that time......

In fairness I think Bert is hyper aware of very specific things but is completely oblivious about 99% of everything else. I think the average person is only aware of about 10% but are less tuned in to that 10% then he is of that 1%.
