God is our refuge- How many stories have we heard of how people in distress have made their way to the neighborhood fire station. People realize that when they arrive there is help there for them. When we have given our lives to Jesus Christ we understand that he is our God and that we can be saved, healed and delivered.
The Bible says, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. (Ps 91:1-2)
