@@alexandernijeboer8385 I understand what you're up against with the shipping. Believe me, I appreciate how cool it is to pick up Elvis stuff from areas where he spent so much time. My God son recently sent me a pic of a booth in a little cafe in Mobile, Alabama with a beat-up plaque on it that said "Elvis Presley sat here often in 1959". Priceless. Cheers !

You are right Christian that’s exactly why Stuck On You/Fame And Fortune had no title on the sleeve because as you rightly pointed out they didn’t know what his first 45 would be in 1960.Was also his first 45 released in Stereo⚡️

Fantastic, thank you! Loved hearing about the Drive In and seeing 'Only Believe', (what a great find, along with 'Fame and Fortune'). Spot on re. the sleeve... I'm guessing RCA must have had at least a million printed in advance... I can never get over how vibrant the colours still are on those 50's singles like 'Jailhouse Rock'. Good luck with finding that safe, (but don't stop buying the beat up Elvis records! when you're even richer!!!!). All the best from the UK, Steve. Meant to ask, 'Don't Cry Daddy could only have just been recently released at the time on an Orange label, so without knowing the history, it seems strange that it was released so soon on RCA's Red Label series? I only have one, ('Lawdy Miss Clawdy'), which is such a great record.

Hey Jivatone! I specifically recall seeing "Frankie & Johnny" at the drive in, and we saw several others. I kinda recall seeing "Girls, Girls, Girls", and "Fun in Acapulco" there too. I love the colors of some of the 50s picture sleeves. The use of yellow and red are especially striking. The non-glossy paper of some of the original releases adds to the look too. "Don't Cry Daddy/Rubberneckin'" was originally released in Nov 1969, and the Gold Standard red label of it was released in December, 1970. Love "Lawdy Miss Clawdy". Cheers !

Hi Christian,great finds ! Any Orange label ep are rare.Basically they were issued for one year 1968 to 1969 .They were deleted sometime and not available in 1970 along with six sound track lps and the Christmas LP.I had commented two days ago but i do not see the comment.

They were the same covers. I had a orange label gold standard with single with the original gold standard series sleeve, Are You lonesome Tonight? That was the only one I ever saw.Every G.S.S. were RED label with different Blue sleeves until THE NEW BLACK Dog at the 2 o'clock label

Christian to reply to your question, the interview promo was given out free for a time at Graceland.around 1975. You can hear it on the RCA box set they released it on the boy from tupelo
