Am I the only person that thinks Vinnie Vincent is the most interesting, intriguing, and fascinating figure/enigma in rock music history? Fan or not, Vinnie is a remarkable story, whether your perspective of him is positive or negative.

i just wanted to say a couple of things about the Atlanta Expo. Firstly, Tommy thanks for being so cool to me at the Expo; i was there all by myself and on the Friday night down in the bar, you spent a good amount talking to me about KISS and watching the Vikings playoff game down in Mexico. Then throughout the Saturday events, every time you saw me wandering around the dealer tables, you stopped to say hello and asked if i was having a good time. i really appreciate all that, especially your kindness and friendliness. THANK YOU, Tommy!! Secondly, despite waiting on line for what seemed like endless hours, all of that faded away when i was standing in front of Vinnie at about 9:30 Saturday night to get my Lick It Up CD cover signed. As he was signing my item for me, the coolest thing happened. i said to him, "Vinnie, thank you so much for doing this; i can't even express how much this means to me." He stopped what he was doing, looked up at me, reached out his hand, shook my hand and said, "No. Thank you for coming out to see me after all these years. I appreciate you being my fan." He then handed me back my CD cover and i left that room feeling awesome, feeling like all that time spent waiting on lines, and the money that was spent was all so worth it for those 20 seconds. It's something I will remember for the rest of my life. It was freaking awesome, and i can't wait for the Nashville Expo. Thank you guys, and Lisa, for the show, and being so nice to me when i met you at the Expo. Keep up the great work!!

It's great to see Vinnie back, now please help Gene and Paul write another great album. Hahaha! He saved KISS for me period, I'd gave up on KISS in the early 80's until i heard C.O.T.N. Creatures of the night, Lick it up and Revenge are the best KISS Albums from 1978 to present hands down, end of story.

Hearing Vinnie talk is obvious he is a tortured soul. He looks and sounds like he’s been to hell and back. God only knows what he’s gone through but its great to see him resurrected and full of positive energy. I only hope he doesnt get too excited about Gene invitation to ‘The Vault’ promotion.Gene is only using the ex-members of KISS as a tool to promote and sell his toy. After Gene is done with his little baby being the ‘vault’ he will kick all the ex-members to the curb. Do what you have to do Vinnie to get back into the game learn from your mistakes and always watch your back. Follow the same model/blueprint KISS executed to get their career back, Do an unplugged with Rob and start with baby steps get the feedback and work from that. Your acoustic songs have a haunting yet melodic feel to them, you can feel the pain where’s the fast tempo electric guitar loses that exact emotion its trying to convey! ALL THE VERY BEST VINNIE GO OUT AND KICK SOME ASS!!

Since we are doing epiphanies and all that, I'm not really a person who regularly comments on your stuff even though I do watch quite a bit. I have in the past made a couple of angry comments regarding things said about Vinnie which were pointless and out of line. I'm not even the worst in that regard but I've learned to not be overly sensitive about things I like, Lick It Up was my first KISS record and I still hold it in high regard. Vinnie wasn't even in the band anymore when I heard it but it's still an album I love with fantastic songs on it. It doesn't mean I should get pissy if somebody else doesn't like something about it or about how Vinnie played, looked or whatever else. I'd also like to say I do enjoy your show a lot and I've honestly learned more about KISS,the stories around the albums and history of the band from you guys than anywhere else. You have some great guests who have interesting things to say. I'm happy to see Vinnie come back and talk about how he's doing and happy a lot of people were able to meet him, including yourselves and you're now able to talk about that so positively. Keep doing what you're doing and let's not see negativity ruin something we all love which is KISS.

I mispoke I actually do listen to the boyz are gonna rock mostly just for the intro lol the song is pretty mediocre interms of melody and vocals but up until a bit after the bass part leading up to verse it is absolutely amazing music in my opinion. Rock on guys! This show has been pulling me through a very tough time. Got mangled under the wagon with heroin and my girlfriend left me and than found out she was pregnant and struggling to get through my first year of college juggling all this. The show really kinda helps me kick back and forget about the world that I am rebuilding around me.

Well since everyone has an opinion......I used to be a huge kiss fan and when Vinnie came on we were happy that kiss was still going. When Vinnie left kiss our circle of friends loved his first album and those haters of kiss in our high school they gave also gave Vinnie props. Looking back now I learned Vinnie was a song writer and although gene and Paul threw him under bus in interviews they hired him to write on other albums so everything they have said goes right the window as far as I am concerned. Obviously Vinnie is more rounded then given credit for and his voice I love it, then and in last weeks meet & greet footage ❤️❤️❤️. Kiss hired him for his guitar skills and that what he wanted to show case so are they criticizing shredding it!?. Sure, we know gene is the “I” guy in his his interviews taking credit for everything (let not for blowing smoke) and Paul was jumping getting everyone’s attention and keeping them on point so why take away Vinnies solos....?.....and on the invasion album Vinnie again was lead guitar player so it makes sense to me he continue shredding that guitar, other bands tried and they did not come off as good . So great job Vinnie V and props to you for being the bigger guy, lord knows I couldn’t do it.

Hmmmm, well that is interesting. Love how Gene offered that plug. Now I notice, I had Paul do the same thing me also recently and interestingly enough, presented it in the same way Gene did. Where he did not fully commit to the actual name of the site or topic of interest. Meaning: in it's entirety, the 3 sides reference was not complete in the plug. Meh I am prob not making sense to anyone here but.... Paul did the same thing with me. I have no doubt in my mind this is strategic in nature and serves a purpose. There must be a reason for this. But gosh I am stumped for a change on this one.

I've listened to many, many shows and enjoy the heck out of them. I didn't understand the comment about fighting in the parking lot with Vinnie. So, I went back in time and heard Tommy say "I asked him if he starred in a gay porno called Platoon...he was not happy." in episode 156. Let's compare this comment to all of those Trump bashers out there that feel they can say whatever about the President. (Just as a side note, I am a USMC Vet and respect the position of the President AND believe everyone is allowed to have their own opinion.) What blows my mind is that Trump haters, or VV haters in this case, say whatever comes to mind to bash the guy...but when they eventually meet him go the opposite direction about their feelings. I would bet that if somehow all of the Trump haters had a sit down 1 on 1 with the guy, they wouldn't say anything disparaging to him. I don't know VV but kudos to him for giving you guys an audience.

Well....I don't know Vinny, and therefore have never had any personal judgments about him, I would never have any personal beef with someone I've never met. The legend of Vinny Vincent is one of the most compelling in music as far as I'm concerned, and I have therefore had great interest in his story (To the extent that I talked to Bruce Kulick about hosting a documentary.....Bruce said "NO") Personally, Creatures and Lick it up are two of my least favorite records (Creatures I hold in higher regard, I like the songs, not the production) Regardless of what people say in retrospect, the original KISS was never anything close to a "Heavy Metal" band, Unmasked and Dynasty were honest records of a band sounding the way they WANTED to sound (The Elder as well, reguardless of what Paul and Gene say) from Creatures on they sounded the way they THOUGHT they needed to sound in order to keep thier careers alive (No pun intended) Vinny was "The Metal expert" they brought on board to update the sound. Unfortunately, they updated into a genre I'm not a big fan of, thus musically, I'm not the biggest Vinny fan. But, I'm not quite sure who it is you're lecturing at the beginning, I would certainly never treat him badly as a person because I don't like his music.

Amazing how many fans believe every word Vinnie threw out there. He's a great guitarist singer song writer. I wish he could write with Kiss again ( not gonna happen ) but, I've learned over the years, take everything with a grain of salt. I'm sure the reason He would never sign his contract has to do to the publishing. After all, he was giving them some of his songs but, Gene and Paul would never let someone else have the publishing. I'm sure he received his song writing royalties but, publishing is where the real money is or was.
