Really incredible when your job description includes those actions that make a SWCC operator a total bada$$, and unsung hero! Thank you USNavy and all the teams of SWCC operators!

Seals are 99% manned they absolutely don’t need anyone else. Swcc isn’t that bad though they’re at about 85% manned.

The Navy is spotlighting SWCCs in order to get the interest of potential recruits. Some will try to become specwar and most will fail, and when they do the Navy already has them locked on for a different rate. Specwar is one of the Navy’s poster boys / recruiting means

The sad part is, this type of individual only makes up about 25% of our military. I mean the kind of person who loves what they do....the rest are either doing it for the benefits (which is fine) or they hate their jobs and/or have no trust and faith in their leaders up and down the CoC!

  • @matthewthornton3662

They work with SEALs and other SOF so they need to have the same capabilities. There’s videos you can watch of them pushing a boat out of the plane and jumping out after it. Loading up and riding to the insertion/extraction point.

They’re actually saving the navy seals assess and what other SOF they pick up in hot zones during heated extractions. Seals and others depend on these guys to keep them safe and alive. Doesn’t sound like a taxi driver to me. If anything, the special forces being picked up are they’re passengers and SWCC in control. Different element to the necessary outcome. Team players. Besides, how many taxi drivers you know shoot 50. Cal machine guns and will pick you up in a battle with bullets flying at you and them? Understatement. These guys deserve more respect.
