EP.25 - ULTIMATE FENDER TRIMMING - WJ JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE - PART 1
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Part One - WJ fender trimming. I am insane and have spent way too much time on this project. But my goal is to have a clean Jeep that looks like factory would have done it. Part two will have the final welding and body work. Part three might include making molds from these panels so I can reproduce them. Anyone interested?

That is what we go for. When it is done you have to try and explain what you did because you can't really tell.
This is by far the best looking wj prerunner fender fabrication. and yes, if you decide on a mold.. I'll purchase a set. Good job.
❤️👍👍👍 Precision and detail are very good..the way it work and the it work is very thorough...👍👍👍
I had been thinking the same kind of modification to the rear. Very cool project and great work !

This is kick ass! I hate when people just hack the fenders and put no thought into it. I like the fact that you kept the factory edges. Also what are you going to do about the piece by the headlight? Are you going to keep factory number? Please post finished video when you can. Great Video

You can use a adjustable wrench but having grooves at multiple depths helps control the size of the flange you are creating. Super easy to make too.

If ya need another wj to work on I would gladly loan you mine lol great work
So are you gonna make these a sellable item? I would love to have a set like this but that looks like a ton more work then I’d even begin to know where to start. I love it!! I also love what you did for headlights and wouldn’t mine going that route too!
You should try moding it with the rubicon fender flares

Hey, great job, new to the channel, dunno if u covered this in previous vids, just want to point out , might wanna just give a shoutout about the importance of unhooking the battery before grinding or especially welding on a vehicle. Safely preventing Computer damage/battery explosions and all that. Awesome job !!!!

Yes always a good idea. Would suck to lose a computer.
Супер
Onto video 2 to see how you handled the headlight end. K I'm back. It was nicely done, but (personal preference) I like the WJ headlights better. If you end up producing these in fiberglass. I vote for WJ headlights. It would make it a bolt on easy swap.

Yes they will be for stock headlights. Working on a bumper version for stock as well.

@@SpiralDesignWorks Your thumbnail pic...I think I may be basically copying that. Extended WJ fender flares moved up.... on my Comanche. If I ever get around to finishing it or even beginning it.
How much for you to build me a set for my WJ?
Would 33's fit on 4"? I want to put them on my WJ. I don't mind trimming.

I think the biggest you can put without trimming is 31". The easier and more popular option is the cut and fold where you make 2"cuts in around the flat outside part of the wheel opening. then fold them up. gives you about 2" all around and 33" will fit. I wend the long hard route because i wanted it to look factory. I am 6" on 35"
Are you located in Detroit? Awesome job love the video I def subscribed and what is the artist of the music?
