Always a great pod…But this episode we needed! Being transparent about whatever work we did whether it’s hun or surgery is paramount in an age where social media dictates what is considered beautiful to the younger generations. Now if we could get some of these female fitness influencers to admit to steroid use then we might actually breakthrough the facade.

Such a great episode. RIP to Jacky, I already see the "love yourself ladies" posts to women getting surgery which is STUPID. just because you decide to get surgery does not correlate with how much you love yourself, it can but its not always. This was a great discussion, also love pour minds!

There is a pervasive message in media that promotes the idea that being thin, slim, or slender is the only acceptable appearance. However, if we are honest, we know this is different from the reality for most people. While it is great to strive for self-improvement, I advocate for this; it is admirable; however, it is important to avoid unrealistic beauty standards set by society. If someone wants to lose weight for health reasons or to feel good about themselves, that is fine. However, if the motivation is solely to conform to societal expectations, this can lead to a wavering self-image. It is essential to recognize the difference between personal goals and external pressures.

Saying “and I’ll do it again” to getting a type of surgery that is not only unnecessary or a “need “ but have such high mortality rates, while also saying “we only have one life and you need to do what makes you happy” is so dangerous. Why? Because can we do what makes us SAFE? Can the conversation about these surgeries be more serious. Are we forgetting that surgery is no joking matter?

if she got it done the first time 10/10 she signed documentation at the actual doctors stating the possible outcomes of getting surgery.... we grown. & plus these ladies arent doctors they're job isn't to educate on surgeries, they just sharing their experience. if they wanted to be the teachers of surgeries, I'm pretty sure they would incorporate that into their platform but they dont. its not their responsibility to educate people on surgery. do you expect to hear nicki minaj cardi b or any rapper going out of their way to educate people about it? no lol instead they make bars about it. (jokes as well.)

this will be the only time I say a dissatisfying comment because this pod is needed and entertaining but all this being proud of the ugly process that it takes for progress and feeling GREAT because you can stand on principle and self worth because you have earned your OWN coin... Why is it that the same can't be said for your BODY goals? If we can constantly build our insides to project a better future why can't you see that the strength focus and persistence of physical routine will lead to a better life overall?

I just don’t feel right when I hear someone talk down about themselves in any capacity even though it’s perceived to be normal. I truly think that that there is something beautiful about everyone whether it’s external or internal. And cause people take things too far. There’s a KZread channel dedicated to “ugly people” and they “own it” that’s the most bizarre thing I’ve heard or seen. That’s not empowerment.

Now, hold up. I’m only 13 minutes in, & yall are already speaking about how someone else is rating themselves, & if they rate themselves a 10, it gives you the right to think they are not. Let’s break this down, because this is where y’all females get this sh*t twisted. First of all, we live in a world where you are told you have to look a certain way in order to be considered beautiful. Let’s start there. There are people in this world who have been affected by things like this & already look at themselves like they ain’t sh*t because the world told them they weren’t. It doesn’t mean that those people have to believe what other insecure people say or what they deem to be the beauty standard. But what I won’t do is agree with people who think their words are facts when speaking about someone else’s appearance or what number they rate themselves. Y’all are the same females that would rate yourself a 10, but all of a sudden, if someone else that "YOU" think isn’t a 10, does that make it true? NO. The point is, what makes you think you are a 10? What gives you the right to speak about someone else who chooses to feel good about themselves & tear them down even more when they decide to do that? How is this women’s empowerment, but y’all over here thinking you can call somebody else a lower number but give yourself a 10? Everybody isn’t cute to somebody, & just because you think that person isn’t a 10 doesn’t mean it’s true. So again, what makes y’all a 10? Let’s really talk about it fr. I get so tired of women doing this sh*t & wonder why there are no real connections when it comes to female friendships. Y’all be low key thinking you look better than them, & you can’t tell me any different. It’s okay for a person to praise themselves because your opinion doesn’t matter. A 10 to you may be a 5 to someone else, & vice versa. It’s not about how somebody looks a certain way. Everyone has their own preferences for what they consider fine in their eyes. You can have your opinion, but don’t push it as if the person isn’t a 10 because you said so, & by that, you think what you are saying are facts. None of y’all are 10's, let’s be real. Y’all think that just because you got surgery & got those fix a flat 🍑 done that it makes you look better than you did before, so therefore you consider yourself a 10. Y’all sound like the red pill content when men try to go in on people's looks when they ask people how they would rate themselves. Y’all pick & choose who y’all think is fine, & then throw the ones that you don’t think are fine to the lower spectrum. Stop talking about stuff like this if you can’t speak on it & not pass it off as facts. Y’all have no problem calling Beyoncé a 10, but someone else said that she was a 7. If y’all heard that come out of somebody's mouth, y’all would look at them crazy in pure 🤢 because, in your eyes, she’s a 10. Let’s rate y’all natural looks before all the enhancements & see if you still call yourself a 10. You most likely would, & that’s the point. People are allowed to feel good about themselves, & what you think isn’t fine doesn’t mean it’s not fine to somebody else. Humble yourself. It’s always the below-average humans that think that just because they got some work done, they have a right to speak on somebody else's appearance. I’ve been around people that watch Draya & Lex, & they said that y’all were a solid 7. Does that make it true? If the answer is no, then stop speaking negatively about others who decide to love themselves at their full capacity. What y’all need to be doing is worrying about the next table you’ll get on next to fix what you don’t like about yourself, Ms. I’m a 10. Chile bye! Value doesn’t come with looks. Y’all sound superficial like fr.
