ok here's a weird one about the kettles: Rumor is rangers clear them out when there are too many. Ranger i asked At teakettle junction said they do Not do that but having been there twice/ someone definitely clears them out, there were way less the 2nd time. Rangers said i could take one if i wanted, some leave one some take one i guess... // awesome time in the desert/ you got closer to doing the full lippencott, i know its coming sooner or later hahaha thanks for sharing...

That fire barrel in the that cabin is a beast. Ive fed the beast on several trips and that place is golden! The next cabin up canyon is ok, kinda wino, but stellar back in the day.

One decade too late!

Awesome episode. You guys should try and make it out to Briggs cabin some other time. It really is a cool spot to camp. It also has electricity. As well as hot running water,a shower, patio, outside sound system and much more. Just may be a little more of a task to get to, but definitely worth it. Minnieta cabin is also a great spot, but doesn't have all the amenities.

Love that whole area funny thing while I was there I figured out we’re 395 junky got his name I’m definitely a 395 junky after exploring that area lol

Take a kettle leave a kettle? That’s like taking coins out of a wishing fountain. I get the need to reduce the number of kettles out there, when my group and I put ours up there 3 years ago there were definitely a lot up.

@@jonnytacooutdoors I live in Las Vegas, so we entered the park from the east side on highway 178. Went straight west all the way through death valley, butte valley and out of the west side of the park over Goler Canyon Rd. We came back into the park to camp in Butte Valley by those awesome rock formations! On day 2, we headed back east and then up to Furnace Creek for some provisions. Then we started our exit out of the park through Echo Canyon. Was such an amazing trip. Really wanted to explore the big loop in the northern part of the park, but some of the roads are still closed unfortunately. Ended up being a 2 part video like yours. Again, great work man! Hope to see you out on the trail sometime!

I think I may have been out there around the same time as you guys. I was up there from 5-3 to 5-6.
