Holy cow! Dr. Horne's presentation is electrifying. He is Zeus atop a Mount Olympus of scholarship throwing bolts of truth that elucidate our current predicament and historical landscape. Bravo on this tour de force! The elemental truth of Dr. Horne's themes should be obvious to all who study our American past. The clarity of his vision and presentation, however, are extraordinary. Thank you.

At the 50:20 or so mark. As it pertains to the quote, unquote “indigenous” being Removed.. ..my discernment and admitted limited/baby knowledge tells me that beyond doubt they were all Kcalb. Greetings to you Mr. Ballas and Thank You for this intriguing series with the gentlemen and scholar Mr. Horne.

Greetings back to you, and thank you for the support! More from Dr. Horne forthcoming. 🙏
always a pleasure to hear Professor Horne. I was introduced to him when he was a guest on a weekly show on WBAI in New York. I bought Race War! and Black and Brown. The breath taking hypocrisy of the founders of this country remain unparalleled. During the war of 1812 freed blacks who had fled to Canada were in the British forces that routed Wade Hampton in battles along the border. I wonder if Prof Horne knows if the British forces that sacked Washington DC during that war included a Jamaican regiment of foot?.
The Science channel did a show about slavery in America in the last two to three weeks ago, and NOT ONCE did they say 'black people'. They called us, ""America's enslaved people" If it wasn't for the pictures of black people working in the fields you would think they were talking about some unheard of race that America also enslaved! Would it kill them to say 'black'? Apparently so.
Good discussion
Great information, thanks for the presentation. Why wasn’t the Liberian option pursued as opposed to places like Cypress Ecuador, and Dominican Republic?
I would love to hear Dr. Horne’s thoughts on the origin of White Supremacy.

Love this interview - QUESTION around 55:00 Gerald Horne talks about "a book called Net Country ..." ... net country? KNET country? - Do you know what book (or subject) he is talking about? - Keep up the excellent work De Facto/Anthony B. ...

@@defactopodcastwithanthonyb576 THANKS! ... oh, he says "NUT country" - makes sense (unfortunately) ... Power to the People!
Was Texas still in slavery, after 1865 Galveston aka Juneteenth? Was slavery still thriving in 1866 and ended in Austin Texas? Was East Texas in Beaumont still in slavery in 1866?
I always wondered if it were true that the majority of textbooks used in America are printed in Texas and if they are used to influence thought.

No, it’s not! Gerald Horne is a fraud, like the 1619 Project, he’s pushing a political agenda and distorting history in a huge way. You should read some of the professional criticism of Horne. They are right!

What is really “ridiculous” is that many people are being indoctrinated with racist nonsense like the 1619 Project and frauds like Gerald Horne! Slavery had nothing to do with the American Revolution which was a progressive revolution that championed freedom and the abolition of slavery while Great Britain profited greatly from the slave trade and actually supported the south in the American Civil War! Do you want to learn the truth about the American Revolution or do you want to listen to lies and frauds that serve a present political agenda?
