I was in prison for 3 years. I rekindled my walk with Christ and it was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have my family back, my relationship with my wife is better than it has ever been in 23 years of marriage and we have been completely sober for over 4 years now. All credit is due to God for showing that my life wasn't over. He showed me that it was just beginning. Thank you JESUS for all that you have done and continue to do. Thank you Brandon for this video. It speaks volumes to what really happens behind bars.

Brandon, I used to be in prison and one of the things I would tell family when I called home was that I wished people could see how the spirit moves in prison. Freedom comes from Jesus in every circumstance. Thanks man for showing this to the world!

I have an adult son in prison that had never been in trouble ever until he was married and a father to 3 daughters. It is terribly heart breaking to see a child you poured into turn his back on God. But God....my son, in his time so far in prison, became closer to Christ than he ever had outside of prison. I pray more are willing to go into the prisons and continue to pour into the inmates and to see they are not beyond helping.

Wow glory to God

My father-in-law has a jail ministry in Colorado. And it has been a huge impact for him to hear inmates giving their lives to Christ or rekindling their walk with God. God still works miracles even in places and in people who we think He can never reach. God bless those who have a heart for souls such as these 🙏❤

My first time ministering in prison was in 1980. At a prison in north Florida...I was with a team of 25 for 3 days ...💔😭😫...my life was totally wrecked ..I found Jesus there ...I went in thinking I was ministering to them but my God ..those men ministered to me ...I tasted true freedom in there 💓🙌🙏🏻💗

My brother is currently in prison. Everyone has kind of written him off. I still talk to him and write him letters, but this has really made me see this differently! Thank you, thank you and thank you Jesus for using this talented man for your glory 🙏🏻

Oh my, this has touched my heart in unknown ways! I have been to prison, spent 2 years there. And it was not a "bad" experience for me as I knew the Lord before I went and He carried me through the experience. He and I used that time to learn more about Him and to experience Him in a whole new way. It changed my life! There were several worship teams that came in and ministered to us and that was such a blessing! I am so happy to see that prison ministry continues in so many different ways! Wow that is just incredible hearing the guys talking about the impact they had upon the mens lives. They felt as if they WERE FREE!❤🎉

When I saw these guys in prison worshiping God it remind of the story of Paul and Silos. One of the guys featured in the prison vlog said, "This is what we been waiting for." This really touch my heart. God is waiting for us to minister to those people in prison and those in the street. I am truly touched by this video. Thank you Brandon Lake and friends. 👍🏾❤️

this video is everything😭😭😭 when you hugged that man in prison, minute 9:54, it feels like the world stopped turning for that moment and God's love, healing and strength came pouring to both of you. Truly He heals and transform lives, make it into a garden🌱🌿🪴🌷🌻🌺🌹, hallelujah, Amen.

This video is so inspirational straight to my heart! My son went to prison at 19 after wrecking a friends car and one of his friends passed away at 18 4 months later due to this accident and he is there now year SEVEN. I just sent him Lion recently to praise God boldly in a very dark place and he has been filled with the Spirit of God and taking lots of heat for it inside! He’s still worshipping and reading ACTS out loud with me over the phone and God has him on mission! Please PLEASE consider going to Keen Mountain prison in Va near the Kentucky border. The staff need Jesus, the Muslims need Jesus and my son Christian could use an uplifting miracle of worship to back him up. All the love to you all! We LOVE Maverick city music and I’m thankful for you guys willing to go into prison. I’m praying for a revelation for these guys and gals!!!❤😢

My son has been in prison for 19 year's of his life..His mind has been in prison pretty much all this life now he worships Thor.. He will not leave the past in the past..I'm scared to death he is coming to my home come February.😢 I'm praying for a peaceful encounter...

So happy that you experienced this Brandon. There is a little children’s song that says: “The church is not a building, the church is not a steeple; the church is not a meeting place, the church is the people. Prisons, hospital rooms, detox centers, senior communities, a public park, a factory or government office, Walmart . .. where ever we take Jesus, there are people who need encouragements, support, love, and if they don’t know there is aGod who loves them they need that above all. God inhabits the praises of his people. When people are sincerely praising , walls fall and the Holy Spirit can minister in a way we can’t. His very presence changes hearts and lives forever. Thank you for allowing God to use you.

My brother in law was saved in prison, he also died in prison of cancer. The last time I seen him I cried so hard when we had to leave him there. Tough. Our pastor went down from Michigan to TX with my husband and my son, he got saved. My husband also was saved in prions years pryer. Has never went back, my brother in law kept going back. He got saved after his last time in prison, he was very sick. We tried to get him out to die at home he has 2 years to go on a 22 and a half year sentence. Federal time you do all your time. It was so hard. I would love to go in to a prison and do this with you. I did so some prison ministry years ago. My heart is with these ppl.

I almost bawled watching this video because you can see how God was present in prison. There are times when people in this world push those that are not deemed worthy by society, especially those in prison. God made each of us and God always used those He called for His purpose and our good. Those men experienced freedom behind bars. And all I can say is that God is so Good and Faithful. His love is poured into each of them like He is to us outside of prison. He is everywhere and there is no limit to worshiping and praising Him. Thank you, Brandon and Maverick City for showing Jesus' love to His Children in prison. They need to hear and experience His love just as we do.

As part of a group of people that goes into the juvenile detention facility in my county to share the gospel with incarcerated youth I can say it is humbling and so beautiful to see someone behind bars find freedom in Jesus Christ

This is one of the most POWERFUL video's I have ever watched. It made me cry for so many reasons I can't even say. This is exactly what Jesus did, he went to the people the ones no one wanted anything to do with, to show them how much they were valued and loved. To make that connection and showed them they matter. This is what Jesus looks like!!

I work in the prison taking inmate truck drivers out on free world deliveries…I get to hear & talk and communicate about things that you wouldn’t be able to do without a truck driver program and invite them to the unit church services ! Love the experience, praying for all inmates at the place each are in and the staff that work these prisons too.

Brandon, THAT is my desire! I want to work with a group that helps/aids/leads the recently released from prison/rehab/military to re-aclimate into healthy society!

Wonderful.I play Brandon's CD in my car every time I leave the house. His music brought me back from a dark place. Gratitude, and House of Healing are so powerful this music leads me into the Thorne room of God. Yes, you might say I am such a strong fan, would love to see him in concert one day. I love the moment at 11:01 during the worship, where all of those MEN in prison are literally singing so loud and praising God with all they had. And I love that they did this, not to mention this is how the body of Christ should look. Helping those and not judging them and I kinda want to do this when I start what God has me starting.

Praise God. I've been watching a lot of worship songs this passed few months and I felt relieved and God-centered. I admit that I can't go to churches personally because of covid to worship and give praise to Him. But, I met 2 person that change my perspective about life. I accepted Him as my God and I started reading the bible. I also set morning and evening prayer plus my devotion and plans to learn His words. Listening to this kind of worship song also helped me to worship Him inside our house. I can't start my day without it and thank you so much for sharing this video because it really helps to relieve all my negative thoughts and it reminds me that God is amazing enough to work in my life, so i don't need to worry and let God do His will. I have an adult son who's in prison. He's not a bad man he just got caught up with friends who were like family. They decided to make up lies on him. It was a he said they said. He's learned that not everyone who says they're family or a true friend really isn't. My son was raised in a Pentecostal church but by no means is he perfect but I do know as a mother that my son didn't do what they say he did. Him being locked up for almost 2 years has helped him in more ways than one. He wants to know more about the Bible. He's been in Bible studies, goes to church and has been doing chapel classes. These men need this. They need to know someone cares enough too show them the love of Jesus. I wish you could go to where my son is. I have a grandson in Wainright Unit in Texas (old Eastham Unit). He has been in seg for over 2 years. They recently were given tablets to communicate with others. Colby has discovered ministries online and these men are seeking God through this. Praise God! My dad passed in 2016. Mighty man of God who ministered in jails for many years. The first time I went to visit my grandson there I saw a road sign a few miles from the unit. It was Bo Brown Road. That was the name my dad went by! God gave me a peace in my heart at that moment. I knew God was doing a mighty work in that prison! I could share for days how God has shown Himself Mighty. PLEASE pray for the men and women in the Texas prisons. They do not have air conditioning, so it's like they're slow cooking in their cells. Temperatures in Texas summers are extremely high, reaching triple digits in summer on a regular basis. Inside the units, temperatures can reach 129 degrees. These men and women suffer from the heat and some die. The TDCJ system are doing nothing to resolve this issue. BUT GOD! HE IS mighty to save. Pray for these prisoners! Your going to these prisons to minister is a God Send!

Thank you Father for the Spirit of Reconciliation and Salvation! Glory to God for HE Sets the Captives Free!
