There’s only downhill from here. This is the pinnacle of the iron culture podcast
This is possibly the best interview I’ve seen with Dave Tate. I clicked for some training nuggets from the OG but instead he gave a philosophy lecture and a business masterclass. Thank you so much guys.

I like how he went from saying he wasn't very smart to discussing anchoring the definition of terms, which is the basis of Aristotelian philosophy.
May we all find somebody who looks at us the way these two look at Dave Tate. If you look closely, you can actually see Omar's heart skip a beat when Tate says he finished high school at 255.
You guys got Dave Tate? Damn. Now I gotta watch. I feel the same as Dave. I keep hearing complaints about the younger generation, but the generation complaining is the group that raised them and allowed society to fall into the state they complain about.
I think the best part of every episode of Iron Culture is how consistently they start with "Eric ... Omar". I pretty much live and breath fitness and this is by far the best podcast I have listened to in this space, and I have listened to almost all of the highly regarded ones. The mixture of banter and science is exactly how I like my hard science presented. Keep up the hard work, even though you always mention you are losing money from this, and I will keep telling all my friends about the #1 podcast in fitness and comedy.
Wow getting Dave on makes me feel old, one of the first guys I followed when I got into strength training in the early 2000's :)

This is Christmas in September! Now you just need to sneak Jessica Buettner into the Elitefts compound for TYAO!
The only OG Tate we need, thank you for this episode!
This is perfect this podcast man, Tates my favorite lifting grandpa
This was such an insightful podcast! It's so rare to hear someone speak open and honestly about business the way Dave does. Also I cried twice during this one ...so yeh! Great questions and an amazing guest. 👌
This Is Gold
Damn now I’m stoked to listen to this one on my commute
Incredible catch bois
Absolutely fantastic episode!!
Awesome episode guys.
'How to pull off a MASSIVE bloat' always reminds me not to take this shit to seriously. Who _wouldn't_ want a head the size of a stability ball?..
I really appreciate the conversation going from lessons in the gym to lessons in business. I've no intention to start a business, but I took some stuff away here for my own professional development.

Damn that was good...if they measure daves head today, he would win for sure...how he think about so many things...giga brain
Wow, you got Dave Tate in! Iron Culture is really getting somewhere. Also that Stronger Things shirt is really cool and good pun. Being dyslexic at his era must have been really difficult. I'm sure his story wasn't unheard of in his youth, having trouble in school and drifting to darker side and nobody really knowing better than calling you stupid. And to hear you're lazy when you want and try to work hard. But I understand the message in "you got it worse and you have to work even more than others". It's pretty amazing how lifting sort of directed him in working through the difficulties, he achieved a lot.
Now you're big time
This show gonna get canceled for having Tate on!
