Thank you for another wonderful video! I also find that knitting is so calming. My mom is in a rehab facility after a hospital stay and daily visits can be stressful at times but knitting on a sock really helps calm me and be more patient with her. Love seeing all the WIPs!
Beautiful knits you are wearing. I love you have so many WIPS Diana! Healing prayers for your mother.
I am a first time viewer thanks to Amber. So many pretty projects you shared! 🥰You ladies are so easy to listen to, very soothing to my spirit. Take care and happy knitting. 💕 Love, Lisa
I was so delighted to discover that I had gotten distracted about five minutes in to this podcast last week, and now I have TWO podcasts to catch up on whilst I knit this afternoon! Also, Kaity, your Illuminate is gorgeous! Now I want to knit one…
Oh Diana I’m sending positive thoughts to you and your mom. I know it can be so stressful when our parents are struggling. You ladies are beautiful knitters and I love watching your podcast. Thank you
I cast off my Ilha while watching you both. It’s a great pattern.
Another fun episode. I went to SIFAF in Corydon Indiana last Friday. I got some beautiful yarn. I buy my notebooks from 5 Below. I’ve found lots of sizes and even some with graph paper. 🧶❤️
Thanks for your honesty in projects!! I’m new to knitting after a 20 plus year vacation
Another fab episode to inspire us knitters. Thank you ❤
I think I watched that podcast also and I think it was Tash from Mostly Knititng. She said we can do a German short row to twist the direction and your ribbing will be on the on it side. I have not done that yet but I’m excited to try on a sweater I’m working g in right now to see if it works. Another great episode 💖

Thank you for the tip! I’ll definitely be trying that! - Kaity
Kaity, I heard Amanda from birch and lily talked about knitting the ribbing inside out. She does a German short row turn on the last stitch of the round before rubbing. Her example (and what I tried) was going from the stockinette sleeve to the ribbing, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work the other way! You should try it! Thanks for taking time to share your knits with us!
Hello from the UK. I would love to knit the The Field Sweater but I've only ever knitted bottom up garments. I have bought the ranunculus pattern but have yet to start it. I really enjoy your podcasts. It's great to see what you are knitting at this time of the year.
Hi Ladies! So good to see you! I’ve seen some good notebooks (just plain, not knitting related) at stores like TJMaxx, Ross, Marshall’s. They are usually 4.00-5.00, have pretty covers and the paper is thicker than just a regular spiral notebook.

Thanks for sharing!! - Kaity
Thank you for a wonderful episode🥰 So many beautiful knits😍 Kaity, You can do a double stitch, like you do for the german shortrows to turn your work when you flip it inside out. Wishing you both a blessed week🧡

Thank you so much for the tip! I’ll definitely be doing that! - Kaity
So many beautiful yarns and beautiful patterns! So fun to watch you two. You are one of the videos I click on right away when I see there is a new one up! ❤
Tash from Mostly Knitting has just done a KZread tutorial for switching your ribbing to the reverse side. Your Ranunculus KAL gave me the oomph I needed to pick it up again. I have ripped back the ribbing twice ‘cos the wool I’m using is really plump and squishy, which is gorgeous but in rib it adds extra bulk that I don’t need! 🤣 I’ve ended up just doing extra stockinette and doing an icord bind off. Just recently discovered your podcast and really enjoy it! Cheers from Australia 😃🧶
Another fun and informative episode! Yes, I just frogged one yesterday to start over. I just was not liking my fabric so using a larger needle and adjusting the size of my garment.
I love a twisted rib as it pulls the knit stitches in nicely. Ktbl, p if doing it in the round
Professor purl has a tutorial on alternating skeins that looks simple and effective.
Another great chat❤
I think it was Helle who talked about it. She just did a short row to reverse directions. Good luck.
G’day Diane & Kaity, ooooh don’t you love Juniper Farm yarn I recently used a skein in my stash in my first ‘Sophie Scarf’ and it’s so deliciously soft and snuggly. A joy to knit through your fingers 👍. Thank you Diane for knit journal tip thicker paper and ring binder 👏👏👏👏🇦🇺
Y’all are so enjoyable to watch! You both are so fortunate to have each other that enjoy the same hobby.
I admire your relationship and all of your knitting. What blessings!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who is okay with frogging things. My husband thinks I’m crazy when I do that.😂
Hey you wonderful ladies!! I just looked on Amazon and see spiral journal and I think they have what you want!! Hugs!❤

Oh thank you!!!! ❤❤ We’ll have to check it out!! - Kaity
I wonder if you slipped the first stitch and then knit it on the second round? Similar to jogless stripes? Love you ladies?
I frog a lot. Sometimes I knit something just to learn something and then frog it. Honestly I
Kaity - could you share the color of the sock yarn you shared and the Etsy shop name? Thanks!

You do a German short row to get reversed, and then you will be working your ribbing inside out!
