Spot on Conversation... This is basically what I got from a direct student of Tomiki & Ohba Sensie's who was one teacher of many during my training.... We became friends... I practised Tomiki aikido from 1975 till 2007, when I retired... It works.... Period...
Awesome interview, you guys should really set up a committee and start setting up tournaments. This will bring about tangible efforts to experiment and make aikido more effective. I have thought more about rules as well and I think aikido pins should be added. I hope you and your connection of high level aikidokas could set up this type of tournaments on continuous basis.
Good podcast Sir, Any chance on doing one on where Aikido descended from please? From Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu and further back ! Thanks 🙏🏽
