A good tip for pulling the small boat is to attach a rope to the stern and pull it along with that. The bow will want to go out so use the front rope to keep it under control. I pulled my broken down canal boat for miles doing that. Thanks for yet another great episode.

alternatively you can run the painter out through the jib-sheet fairlead. the boat will naturally turn slightly away and follow a course parallel to the bank.

The DJI Mics are great! The sound level is much more consistent. I know you said you ordered another set of glasses, but as tonystanley says, strengthen them with a piece of wire. I'd drill a small hole in each nose piece and epoxy the wire and the halves together. MUCH stronger that way. Good episode!

Your glasses are probably stronger than they were before to broke them 👍 and you quite right feed the parents and not the chicks, if you start doing that the parents will smell that you've been on the nest and abandon them. Love the sounds of those engines, both seam to be working really well.

You should buy or make a 3x10 adjustable shelf that you can hang off the side of the ship with either ropes or u-shaped pipes that has adjustment holes so you can change the height all so you can work off the side as far as just above the mud or waterline that is at the time you are working to the top, that way no mater what the level of the tide is at the time you are working you can still do what needs to be done.Think of how a window washer works on a high rise building.

For your glasses a better repair is to add a small strip of metal or pin with epoxy, ideally top and lower front. Its less aesthetic but way stronger. You need to spread the load out over wider glued surface.

You'll always have some sort of wind noise depending on how hard it's blowing, but everyone that I've seen using those DJI mics have had a huge improvement in audio quality. If you build a zipline from the car park to Sarinda's upper deck then you can load/unload gear whenever you want! lol. With all of the spare time and money you guys have, you could design and build a 20 foot aluminium pontoon/barge for hauling equipment/parts and have it lashed alongside. Power it off an old 2 litre motor from a random Fiat/Escort/VW. Saves having to fight the tender on and off the mud lol. When the tide's out you can fall back to using the zip line.

Wireless mics really help sound quality, and sound quality is so important in a video, more than people realise. Have I got this right?
