Gentlemen, I just watched each episode in a single sitting - loved it. And I'll no doubt see you up there. I've just bought an Oceanis 38, my first yacht. She'll be moored at Troon. If my experiences are 1/2 as fun as yours, I'll be a happy man. Cheers John Lees

I just been watching you and your yacht, may I ask a question? Why did you buy a yaght that had two wheels at the back of the boat, why I ask. Your in Scotland and you would be stood in the rain and wind beating down on you. Alternatively 5hrs sailing in the open Sun means you would be burnt to a crisp. You have no canopy to protect you from the elements. Please advise as I'm considering sailing now that I'm retired. Graham

Hi Graham, I like the twin helm as it allows you to steer from either side and still get good visibility forward. We haven't missed the canopy and enjoy being in the elements although we are only out at weekends and choose the weather 😀

I'm sure we saw you as we drove from Skelmorlie to Largs, we saw the spinnaker before we had watched the video!
