In this first season I wanted to share a bit of Kathy and my story; take you back to where it all began and pull back the curtain of our lives. This first season encompasses so much more than our story, but how history has become HIStory in our lives.

Hard not to smile listening to these two
When they started talking about working together and always being together. I held my phone to my heart. It was like I was borrowing this preciousness and almost having part of their testimonial of love and co-laboring together be part of MY history. Instead of the past and present hurts of my own. My family then-and now my husband - kinda dysfunctional. Something supernatural when 2 people love each other and do things right…. Does this make sense? Lol

My Mom told me that she wanted me to marry my then friend and not the guy I was seeing. We have been married now 36 years Mom know. She died shorty after meeting him and never saw me married but I believe she knew before she died that we would one day become one.
