Just a correction. The pathology faculty who taught us Rheumatic Heart Disease and Vasculitis at AIIMS is Dr Ruma Ray. Dr Rama Chaudhary is the Microbiology faculty.

Aap logo Ko such me Lagta hai ke yeh faculty log aap dono ke baat sunenge? Ye log apne hi banaye hue duniya me khoye hue hain…..zyada tar faculty kaunsa book padhna hai wo hi nahi batate…..ppt wala baat to hai hi…..class me aate hai uzre huye shakal leke…..koi bhi do department me coordination nahi hai…..taaki integrated learning ho sake……aur to aur , 2nd yr me batate hai ke yeh topic tum agle yr me jaake sikhoge…..aur agle yr waale faculties batate hai ke yeh topic to tumhe pichle yr me padhaya gaya hai, Mai kyu padhauun…..students sochte hai sir bulayenge class lene ke liye….sir log sochte hai ke students aaye to pahele….hum kyun khud se bulaye unhe…..kahi koi mutual understanding nahi hai…..aur jaha mauka mile kuch so called backbenchers class bunk maar ke coaching se padh ke neet pg bhi fodh rahe hain…..aur unhe koi rokne wala bhi nahi hai……last but not the least….har ek department me zyada se zyada do ya teen faculty hi hai zinhe padhana ata hai wo bhi marrow ya prepladder waale faculty se bhi zyada accha…..par ek do faculty to puure saal bhar akele ek subject to khatam nahi kar sakta…..

Yes you are right. There were professors in ug days whom we didn't know of. Most importantly most don't prepare for their classes.

I did my mbbs from a govt med school in west bengal almost a decade back. I must admit I received worst quality of education in my ug days. I never expected that how can faculties in a govt med school become so poor. Micro, physio, biochem, ophtha probably the worst affected dept. During that time there was no such app. I can remember only a single medicine theory class happened during my whole mbbs tenure. Though clinical posting used to happen, teachers were too reluctant to teach.

Ya u r right... But at ug level in recent years... That vacuum has been filled by quality teaching by marrow dams and other coaching classes.... I wanna ask what's the condition at pg le el... Is teaching happens there... R there any such classes available at pg level???

Sir would you plz tell books for every subjects like robbins of 1st and 2nd prof( its block wise so) . My exams are 30 marks mcq 30 marks saq ( 10 question each 3 marks) and problem based q 20 marks( 2 each of 10). I want to read standard books but my seniors have some what frightened me that you won't get good marks in proff exams 😢😢

Agree that blackboard teaching is the best but most colleges have high numbers of ugs ...200 n above... becomes impractical to teach on black background

U.G mein clinical branches mein faculties apne pvt. Practice mein hi vyast rehte the..classes lene ke liye lagta thaa zabardasti koi bas bhej diya hai...some classes were really monotonous...no interest...Khud hi Profs. Ke liye padhna padta thaa...Kyun hi jayega koi class..😢

Dear sir! Consistency ko lekar sawal puchna hai. Agar month me 2-3din study (Health issues)nhi ho paati, to kya ye bahut kaharab kaha jayega???

2-3 days in a month is not a problem at all. Infact such breaks are important to prevent burnout.
