Great review, looks a good piece of kit. Don’t forget that interior light you removed in the rear, you can use the wiring for a ‘garage light’ in the rear of your van 🤞

Nice looking unit, eonon brand been around a long time. Lots of wires for my old brain but neat features like personalising steering wheel controls and the hdmi for another screen in the rear of the van!. Always wondered how reversing camera was triggered, had both factory fit on prev golf and aftermarket fit on my old Insignia. Look forward to following the camper build. 👍

Using Wego connectors makes that install so much simpler. Looks like a good upgrade, shame about the trim kit missing essential bits and not fastening in properly. Might try your technique to get the original radio out of my Sprinter, as we haven't been able to remove it with the special radio removal tools we got.....

Great stuff! Only thing I would do differently is use shrink wrap instead of insulating tape on the joints as insulating tape comes off in time and defeats the purpose of it being there!

It’s happened a couple of times on my other system. Only drove this one a couple of times so not noticed yet.

I’ve always found the dab reception to be poop on the Chinese units

I fitted the adapter today so now it’s running on the stock dab aerial. The signal is perfect now 👍 even found a load of new channel when I did a rescan
