My point is what those ch8kdren doing in that tarven we have jails for juveniles why ain't those children arrested these parents must look after those children what message must be sent is to those children

The findings of the court are correct, this will be the lesson to many Parents that are giving freedom to their kids, parents should take responsibility for their children,

I doubt they had any control at all. Those children didn't even ask for permission to go to that place. How do you allow that as a parent of a teenager, especially a 13yr old. My heart bled for that child who was failed by her parent. 😢

Many of the parents were at the groove themselves when this tragedy happened. Many of the parents do give money to their children to buy them alcohol. Many of the parents knew that their children do drink alcohol.

Parents might still be blamed for negligence but the question remain as who sold them alcohol

@hgfku-tn6hp, my biggest concern, is the parents who bought new clothes and send their children to a Tavern. If you send a child to a Tavern, are you expecting your child to drink "sparkling water" definitely not.

So families of the victims wanted tavern owners to be punished for their children mistake. Big NO for me. The victims parents are also to be blamed here

As a mother im accountable for my child's whereabouts

The problem this kids they don’t respect they’re parents and they are very rude, the judgement is correct

Parents must charge as well u know ur child drink alcohol but u don't report that at all

How can yall blame parents, if the owners sold alcohol to the youth, Children can lie about their whereabouts, it shows tavern owners dont care about nothing but money. The court should've set an example so tavern and club owners are strict on age restrictions.

Parents have a duty also to play

It is also the responsibility and accountability of parents to ensure that underage children do not go to tarvens.They are fortunate that they were not arrested and sentenced as well.Tarvern owners should abide by their laws as well.

Parents are the one's that failed to take responsibility of the movement of their kids. If you fail to discipline your kids, expect these kind of results

As parents it seems as if we are giving our kids wrong freedom if we check white people 's kids they don't have that useless freedom to go to tarvens whilst their parents enjoy their sleep.Tough love is needed in raising kids not to allow kids to go everywhere to enter a gate after 7 as if there we are2 parents its best lesson as for me it's a big no to exchange words with my kid or else she will end up on a naughty corner

The lady who was saying she is dissapointed to the sentence given to the tavern owners really surprises us because they are also guilty for not taking care of them they should also sentenced too for negligence

What if they asked others to buy them alcohol. It's very difficult to control it, unless if our law enforcement is strict to the taverns by monitoring if they are under age people. I think it can be better
