I really love the songs of Enya and much more her captivating beauty and soft voice.

What a lovely interview! She's so adorable, especially when she speaks about "Quenya"! :-)

Angelic voice coupled with stunning beauty.....truly the stuff of dreams

I had terrible nightmares & sleep paralysis as a kid & young teen. A friend brought over her 1st album many years ago & played it for me. I recorded the album to cassette tape & used it to go to sleep with. It literally helped me to calm down my anxiety, & instead of demons running through my mind, I pictured beautiful scenes & angels of protection surrounding me. It was the perfect therapy for me lol. I love all kinds of music, but Enya has that gift to communicate directly to the spirit.

I feel the same exact way! She just has this natural calming effect when I watch her interviews . . . She seems so delightful.

Beautiful, captivating, engaging, fabulous and spiritually elevated Lady. Her music is steeped in the otherworldly, the magical and the ethereal. I never knew she admired and appreciated the works of Tolkien, but no real surprises there, given the unearthly resonance and nature of her music. It's entirely appropriate that she should have been so closely associated with the book and the "filam" of the century (...sorry Eithna) And I agree totally. She would make a fantastic Noldorin She-Elf of high lineage. Quenya=Enya? ....Absolutely.

A stunning woman. I LOVE the dresses she wears that accentuate her amazing figure and yet make her ethereal and magical at the same time. Just beautiful. How I would love to be her friend. She strikes me as a very loyal, calming and vividly strong person.

If Tolkien was alive he would aprove Enya to be in the OST of Lord of the Ring she's perfect , and he would be please to hear her speak in elvish language too knowing that she sings a few songs in that language

as she said in this interview, Enya's first language is Irish Gaelic. she actually started learning English at school whe she was about 5 - so I've read in one of biographical notes. I think her elder sister Máire has a little different accent that does sound more Irish. anyway, you can hear that Enya does not feel perfectly comfortabled about using English. at least I can, having larned that as a secong language too. it's sweet how she pronounces 'troughout', 'tree of us' and 'filim' :)

Glad you're into it too! I am, slowly but surely learning. In French class, we'd go to the lab and I went on Quia. Instead of French I went into Irish Language. It's a good start ;D

we all love her but some people cross boundrys. she lives around the corner from my home and i would never hang around outside her house. she gives the world her music thats good enough for me. let the girl live in peace.

She doesn't sound Irish, If I didn't know her I'd never guess she's Irish. Anyone know why this is? Is she hiding her accent or does she not have one to begin with.
