HIGHLY SENSITIVE PEOPLE experience life differently than the majority of people, its a mind blowing experience

I'm an artist. I did not persue my art for 30 years because I thought it was frivolous. Then I remembered how Enya is what got me through some of the darkest years of my life. Even before this wonderful song existed! One day, in mid life, I thought "if Enya's songs helped me so much, who's to say my art wouldn't help at least one person"? So I changed my career. It took a decade to do that, but I don't regret it.

That is inspirational, be true to your calling and give it all you are made of!! I have also put aside creative passions,Im a musician and writer mainly, but I have realized how important it is to me to do it and do it well and am recommitting. It was something i felt i had to push back until other things were settled. I couldnt commit to it you could say. Frustrated so deeply. It's so interesting because this is the first album under the watchful eye of social media. I have never seen so many negative people "attack" Enya and her music. "It's too repetitive", "it's not your best work". As if they're the authority on her music. She's timeless, an inspiration, and her music has gotten me through the worst times I've ever had. I cannot wait for this album. Alleluia!

To you Maxi and the other positive replies: I'm so thankful of people like you that appreciate Enya's uniqueness, that can discern the textures and layers in her music without thinking it's "the same stuff". You appreciate what is given and find joy in it without complaining, wanting more, or for something to be changed. The more I listen to this song, the better it gets; I believe it was a good choice for pre-release. The piano solo is masterful, Roma's lyrics poweful. Since they took so long to release this (they are perfectionists) I have a feeling this album may be stellar, perhaps their best release yet. Thanks to all! (now... to listen to this for like the 25th time now...)

"Every song is a journey" Yes exactly, well put! Perhaps if more people gave it a chance and listened a little closer, and not on the surface, they wouldn't be so bitter. Egad, what they must be like to be that way. Ok, so maybe Enya isn't for everyone, listen to something that inspires and uplifts you, not full of angst, anger and turmoil. For me, listening to Enya has helped lift me through some dark and troubled times and has continued to bring joy. Sometimes, there is something almost unearthly to her music, harkening back to a distant past. I can't explain it. Peace to you my friend!

I've lost the man I loved most in my life a month ago.. my dad, my friend, my Angel.. he loved Enya songs.. used to play for me until I fell asleep when I was a little girl. I have yet to hear Enya produce a piece of music that is just "so so". A force unto herself she sings and plays from the heart and as long as she does that she will never disappoint.

When I was a teenager in the 90s I loved listening to Enya but I was certain that I eventually would mature past her music. It's been over 20 years since I was a teenager and I'm a glad I put away my childish belief about "maturity" because Enya is fantastic.

My mother loved Enya. When this song came out, she was busy fighting cancer, so she probably missed the release and never heard it. I can't ask her about it because she died in 2016. But as I listen, I imagine her with me, telling me: "This is a really good song." And she would be right.

Proud to be from Donegal Ireland at the moment. Our Angel has risen again :) Gweedore will be proud of their Angel.

So the first person We asked about the cause of his death The doctor said :" His heart stopped beating Heart failure." But the last one hwo transplanted the Heart inside Had lived more than 10 years later Then he was lost the way between the tree's in the wood's Why the first person The doctor said:"Heart failure." and The second had lived with this heart Hwo's failure ........ I am going to refer to this song as "stress killer song"! I just barely discovered this Enya gem not more than 2 1/2 hours ago and I have already listened to it about 5-6 times now!! Too bad I did not come across it 11 hours ago when I was being bombed with a near day long headache siege. I will have this at the ready for next time though! Enya, you are a gift to this whole world! I am glad now that I was born in this period in time! I just knew you would be around for decades when I first heard you on the radio!! I was sitting on my living room couple days ago and suddenly I heard a very beautiful melody from tv and had to turn my head to see what was it about. And then I heard a man saying "enya, dark sky island, new album" and I was in love right a way. Enya, a name I can't forget. I came to youtube to search her and found the beautiful melody again. It was this song. I have no idea who she is, where is she from or what is the thing with her but this song is absolutely amazing! This brings cold winter, night sky full of stars and northern lights to my mind. Just wow! Happy greetings from Finland.

The Very Awesome Creator God Who gifted Enya must be so magnificent and worthy of all our praise and prayers.

This is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes.

Enya is one of very few artists to actually make a difference with her music like on such a powerful and spiritual level. I like baseline rnb house music and everything up beat but when it comes to Enya it's like her music touches my soul. I leave this universe and enter better space. It's like a high. This brought a tear to me eye. It's been 7 years since her last effort, and the world has gotten 10x worse. Enya's work always brings a healing authority, when she decides to release music. I had pure goosebumps when i discovered, that she "growed up in surrounding of good music". And this is really good to know, that she is always the same: Perfection. My gratitude, Enya. Your music is beautiful magic.

Listening to Enya's playlist while working online makes all my troubles and headaches blur to eventually disappear. Literally the voice of an Angel. And who knows if she really is. Pure magic, melodic. For me one of the purest, finest and powerful voices of all times. A ray of sunshine in one of the darkest and saddest moments of our lives.
