Hi Joie! Just checking in to let you know I'm thinking about you, and praying that you will soon be restored to glorious health! I miss our Friday fun (Friday in the states at least), but have made myself a promise to watch at least three of your older videos each week so I can keep crafting along with you and hopefully help keep your channel in use while you're away. I'm imagining that your current project is crafting a healthier you, and I'm sending you warm thoughts of strength, encouragement, endurance, and lots of creative inspiration, similar to that which you always bring to your latest paper creation. I'll keep watching and praying, my friend!

These pages are so fun. I've never seen an envelope flapper before. Also, I love listening to your voice. So lovely.

I recently joined a group for mothers of veterans suicide. The woman who started the group has a retreat for moms across the states here in Georgia. I love doing crafts and felt a junk journal would maybe help mom's with their grief. In Googling for ideas I came across your site. I love your ideas. In fact I will continue to play with journals for my self. I think they make great gifts. I'm only starting these for 20 mom's I hope they will continue to add to them: The ones I started, I have set up in categories. I've liked and subscribed. Thank you

I decided to take a break from sewing and rest some. The kids are all coming over for Easter dinner. We always have a lot of fun with the great grandkids. Having so much fun with this I made the envelopes out of shiny paged brochure for Riverboat travel that comes in the mail. I was going to make it for my Joie journal but I'm making a journal for my daughter for Christmas and this is just what I needed for the second signature for something special. I will also make one for the other Journal eventually. Right now it is taking a backseat to my Christmas journals. This was such an original idea! A bit of a Rubik's cube at first but the end result was a wonderful way to extend content in a little book I'm working on. I think it will be huge fun for the reader to unfold all the little overlapping envelope pockets, like finding secrets!
