it's a year later and I'm watching this video again. And I see pots that are sitting on large candle stands. That is something I missed the first time around, my goodness you just make me smile with your inventive nature and the way you re-purpose things. I'm smiling at you and clapping, cause I am so thankful I found you on you tube. Please never stop taking us on tours, giving us step-by-step instruction or direction, and being so honest about how you live in and use your house and home as your sanctuary. We all need that, home is to be our safe place. Thank you Linda.

I love all the family sentiments it reminds me of my home. I’m a very sentimental person.

There is just something, about Christmas and older/vintage/dark wood homes...that is just so warm, cozy, and perfect for the Holidays...it is just so..... right! They were meant for each other... I watch other homes being decorated for the holidays....and although lovely in their own way (the modern/white homes)... this just gets me every time.... it is like being back in time...your house is lovely...Merry Christmas!

I am definitely doing a lot less decorating than I used to not due to Covid, but because I love greenery and the natural elements and colors. In this manner one doesn’t have to feel ‘outdated ‘ when Christmas is over.

My husband is the decorator and he does 5 trees many things we’ve collected through the years all handmade adorn our home ....he has a collection of trains and a quite impressive village that our 3 year old grandson just loves .....MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

Fabulous! I love these small rooms, that make such a special moment, before going into the rest of the home. I decorate by starting off with a base in each room something Christmasy and then I take about a week to complete. I decorate late at night after everyone has gone to bed, sure we decorate the maint trees as a family, but then jush them up later. I tend to jump around from room to room and finally end with a complete project. I may watch inspirational interior design videos while I decorate and that may send me out of the living room to the family room to add that inspired moment. So what may look as though I am running from room to room during the decorating days ends up with every room touched by Christmas and finally a completed project.

Lovely. Glad to see you finding joy in traditions after such a trying year. I tend to decorate one room at a time and this year I'm going all out for just my immediate family, husband, daughter, son-n-law and 7 y.o. grandson. He is the perfect age. Happiest of Holidays. Keep up the good work!

The small tour was a good appetizer for a larger tour. I am smitten with the shuttered window. So much better than the typical louvered shutters. I have things that belonged to my Mama and when I touch them I can feel her hand on my own. I may be decorating a bit more this year. Just feels right. Plus I am knitting lots of gnomes.
