Two important rules about hosting people. Rule number one don't ever host and rule number two: stick to the first. Your content is good. However i would suggest next time you could incorporate something more outdoor like picnics dinners nature vlogs. We would appreciate that but am always a big fan of this space.

You see over reacted to not being given access to her laptop. You've stated it's her laptop and she has every right to do with it as she wishes, and that includes saying no. Maybe she had a negative experience in the past, people can be malicious, but the point is, it's her laptop and saying no is a very acceptable answer. You might have been feeling some type of way over her not chipping in for the bare necessities while staying for free and you were not comfortable spending money on fare to take her around, and it's very easy to get lost in Nairobi, even with Google maps you can get lost. If you ever change your mind on hosting, have some ground rules, like chip in for food, help with transport etc. It sucks that you're loosing a friend over her laptop.

In all honesty she is the one that got mad because I refused to give her my powerbank after she refused with her laptop ...I did feel some type of way after alininyima but not enough to lose a Friendship over ..that was all her because after I said no to my powerbank she packed and left ....let's just say women we will fight over the smallest things which is sad really...

@@Stacypmbogo I've met people who get mad over weird stuff, it always blows my mind. I once lost a friend over a plate of kaimati. Back when I was in uni, I'd have breakfast in the cafeteria coz it was cheap and filling. One day I get to the cafeteria and find kaimati, they never served those, it was always maandazi. Anyway, I buy a plate and a cup off coffee and sit down to enjoy myself. My friends sees me, comes over to chat, she takes a kaimati, likes it and pulls the whole plate to her side, I pull it back and tell her she can go buy herself a plate. I didn't know I'd gotten the last plate. She stopped talking to me that day and spent the rest of sem spreading rumours about me. I moved on with life but I still laugh at loosing a friend over kaimati. Hope you manage to patch things up with your friend but if you don't, I hope you make better friends

About the story part. If it is not a problem you couldn't be addressing all these. The privacy in her laptop could be totally different from your laptop. I also think other issues (contribution)had already pilled on your side apart from laptop issue. It was a learning stage.......

Well, on the story time part...my opinion is that, first that friend should be aware that she needs to contribute in things like buying food, power tokens etc....cause some of us who leave alone tunakuanga tumejibudgetia pekee, so there's no way you'll visit and we finish my 1 month food in a week! Second, apo kwa lappy I think I understand her cause you know in as much as we are friends, you never know who is up for your downfall, I would be conscious about that too. If you start thinking of things like that laptop holds your everything, that's where you get your income etc, you wouldn't trust even your close friends with it Hapo kwa kumnyima power bank, I validate your feelings, and it's not pettiness. As friends we have different boundaries and expectations from each other, and the fact that they might be different between each other, we just learn each other and know how to live with them, if at all they are worth keeping....I know it's a long post😅

First I feel like you felt bad after taking her to the forex and not getting anything from the money exchanged. Second... You don't borrow people's laptops. I didn't know this until I saw someone extremely offended that someone had asked for his laptop. For two days the guy was pissed. Also, whether you're hosting her or not does not justify you expecting to use her laptop. Manguo na laptop ni tofauti. Alright! That's my comment! Nitaandika ingine if I come across something else.
