3-0 prediction. Impressive. The lack of disrespect for a team that competed with Barcelona in the group stage for a spot in the knockout stages and proven to have a fighting spirit against Ajax in the first game. Here in Portugal people have a lot of respect for Ajax after what they have done over the years in the champions league and specially what they did this season to our rival Sporting. This just makes this victory even more enjoyable knowing people absolutely disregard portuguese teams this much.

im from sporting but thats doesnt change my support for the portuguese teams out there. yes, ajax defeated us and humilliated us this season but we will come back stronger. benfica played like they should, defend all the game and try to score in counter attack or freekikcs/corners. great job and like an ex benfica coach said, "ajax understimated benfica" and its true. ajax are a great team but they need to get their heads in place, benfica isnt been so good these last 3 seasons but they are and will always be a great team that you should never take for granted.

In the 1st leg Benfica deserved to win. 1st half balanced but the second half was ours. In the 2nd leg Ajax have dominated the game but Benfica was very solid in the defense ( in the past years in ucl games This doesn't happened) and we attack when we should and we scored. In the overall of the agg. was 50/50 and could fall to both sides, and it fell to our side. VAMOSSS BENFICA ❤️🦅

They played very clever against an aggressor but holy shit was benfica boring to watch. They were really playing towards the penalties from the second the game began.

@@freekvonk8586 I think the strategy was to stick with defending until the 60 minute mark, and then start attacking. Before the goal Benfica was starting to attack more (the substitution made was to start attacking more) but we scored the game right after so the rest of the game was just defending again.
Man thank you for this video. Remember your Aston Villa is the winner of the competition in 1982. That's awesome. I'm a Benfica fan, I'm very happy but recognize Ajax has great team, play a beautiful football. Benfica and Ajax are two team with beautiful history in Champion League, great passion, identity and culture and two great historic players and friends, Yohan Cruyff & Eusebio :)
