Probably the best!

That main riff is so violent, mostly on that B tunning. That riff is one of the most loud riff ever in metal

Yesss, d beat-like drumming and crusty riffing, love it when its in form of Entombed since they carry traditional death metal sound

Just an amazing landmark in heavy music history. Nobody sounded like entombed. The crazy tuning and the amazing effects of the Boss Hm-2 and Ds-1 together make that deep cutting buzzsaw sounds that we all love and know so well now. It's still among the heaviest albums I can only imagine how ppl reacted upon first release. Clandestine is equally an amazing album though a shame that petrov left for the album. The production on clandestine isnt quite what it was on left hand path but still a great album. I didnt follow them into their death n roll transformation but im thankful for the first 2 albums.

I’d say Like An Everflowing Stream has better production, but both albums have really good production

It inspired so many VSTs that are used for guitars nowadays....Perfect guitar tone.

@@fuzzo4475 True, I just think Gateways is a really cool evolution of their sound from Immortal Rites to Covenant to all that lies between, they are the only band that can sound modern and interesting I’m almost any era of their music. I think their very new stuff is a little lamer especially ‘that album’ but overall as a whole their evolution from the late 80’s to the early to mid 2000’s is so interesting to me.

Love this song, I was fortunate to be able to see them live with Morbid Angel,and Unleashed @ The Abyss in Houston Texas when I was in highschool. Awesome kickass show....

Was definitely thinking the same thing. Sounds a lot more like a Wolfbrigade song than Entombed, especially with the guitar sound.

The problem with your statement is that this is the only album where Entombed sounded like a crust punk band, hence why I said 'Sounds a lot more like a Wolfbrigade song than Entombed'. Learn how to read a comment before you try to correct someone on it. You'll look a lot more intelligent than you do right now.

T00BR00TAL4YOU The illustrated point of my comment is that this particular song and album (and *only* this particular song and album) have a similar sound to the majority of ones that Wolfbrigade have done. Saying I didn't 'properly phrase' my comment just because you didn't agree with it (or worse, didn't understand what I was saying to begin with) is about as infantile as it gets. But whatever. It's not like this was ever a worthwhile thing to argue about anyway. I'm over it.

This album brings back a lot of wild and crazy memories

Rest in peace, LG Petrov. You helped putting Swedish death metal on the world map.
