I bought this album when it came out and I was 15. I just ordered it again today at 44 and this is hands down one of the best metal albums ever written.

Same here, got in on vinyl a few years ago, still one of the beast albums ever!

So surreal seeing music like this done as a mime job for TV........

Yeah, I know J is miming Nicke's vocals. But, ..... this song.... blew me the fuck away in 1991. We used to hang out in this scout hut in Sussex, England. One night, there was this big party. Loads of townies there. Then.. All of a sudden, this song came on the PA. ALL the townie/trendie girls ran away, leaving a few metallers. I'd never heard anything like this. It was FUCKING AMAZING.

Johnny is singing playback to Nickes vocals.

Which also proves that Nicke Andersson lied about Johnny not performing vocals. Nicke claims he did the vocals on the recording, so that part may be true. Bit of a disappointment, but Nicke also gave up playing drums for Entombed, so there's that too. Such a shame.

Also bought this after beeing so much in love with Left Hand Path! It was a good and straight follow up, with some differencess. After I think Entombed with hollowman got tombed. But these tracks from LHP and CS still gets me goosebumps, and are still something to buy again in the bucket list!

I think playback was pretty standard for music programmes. Iron Maiden did it, and they would all swap around instruments as the music played to fuck with people

Holly Fox The vocals on Clandestine are actually done by drummer Nicke Andersson. This guy only did the liveshows around that time.. Look it up! ☺

Nicke did the vocals on Clandestine. Nobody's actually playing on this, it was standard procedure to mime your performance on television back in the day.

Great opening frm Clandestine album which is also killer but, the miming here is a real downer! It's hard to swallow that a band like Entombed have bowed down to T.V Executives's orders to not to play a real live set! Pathetic music business rule! At least Iron Maiden stood up and took the piss of tv producers in Germany!
