All textbooks concerning databases material in a college setting cost this much easily if not more, I had a Database book that cost over $300, Of course I bought a used one, no way in the world am I paying $300.

I dropped out of college after my first semester, went home watched this video, created and ERD, than picked up python, django, created a backend for a ecomerce store, created an api using django rest framework, then learn html, css, javascript, and vuejs. build a front end . put my store on the cloud, created a resume and applied to be a full stack web developer. Now i make 100K year in new york city. Im 22 with no college debt. All thanks to this video.

Universities should hire you. I've never seen learning made so simple the way you have done it. Awesome job, wish i had this years ago.
This video was FANTASTIC. Your portrayal of a true-to-life example and your combined use of multimedia, humor, and acting to teach and demonstrate was instrumental to getting the point across. I love the "total amateur" approach, and how it was neatly broken down and explained in understandable terms. Very helpful.
Thank you Gina for this video tutorial! It creatively explained the topic with good inforgraphics and helped me to summarize 50% of a semester. Hope you continue such good work and help more folks to understand the concepts with creative infographics like this.
I can't begin to tell you how much this video has helped me with my course. Thanks a million!!
Great video! You really broke down a confusing topic into easy to understand, manageable pieces. This really helped me understand the concepts of ERDs a lot better than what I was kind of gleaning from my text.
Thank you even though how many years this video has been published, it helped many people every year. I hope you guys did not stopped making videos about IT/CS stuff. Both of you are very well spoken and your enunciation is superb I can understand. I did not understand our teacher but after watching your video, all my confusion is gone. Passion on things are really different.
Great video Gina. I'm a person who doesn't like database but now I can understand how simple it is. Thank you for making the video so enjoyable.
I'm coming back to DBA after a few years, this is an amazing summary to refresh my mind. Great work.
Thank you so much. 2 months of stupid sites and tuts and all I needed was your video.
Thank you so much I am taking a database design class and these diagrams have been tough for me, this actually makes sense!!
I aced it! Great lesson. I missed that class and don't want to go back to school just for this. Much more explanatory and efficient. Thank you.
Why is it that i find the most useful videos right after the midterm... Excellent video! Earned my subscription.

i love you. this vid makes my life so much easier. if my professor talks like this i wouldn't have a hard time listening to the lectures
This was actually really helpful and not boring (unlike a lot of other videos on the topic) Thanks!
Im trying to get into database modelling, and I just had to say, your video is a lifesaver!! Good job :)
paid £9000 for a year at university and this genius sums up everything in 15 mins .. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Brilliant job. The dialogues was very important. Posed the questions and answered the questions.
I normally do not comment on videos, but this is awesome. Looks like you can evaluate others' minds in terms of how they learn easily.
Excellent video, the questions at the latter segment of the video was an awesome touch! Keep up the great job!
Business Rule# 4 needs to be adjusted. It actually reads: An employee can be assigned to many projects, and, a project can be assigned to only one employee. The cardinality between the Project and Assignment entities should be turned around and have the minimum cardinality added. My guess is that this was done in Visio 2010. It has some sort of a bug when creating cardinality.

Gina you're the bomb. You have done a solid for humanity here.
I friggin love this so much,I wish we can learn like this in a university where they would teach us step by step.Professors assume once you've grown up we should learn and act like boring adults.I wish they could teach us learn Database and Computer Science in university like kindergartens.

Aiman Rockefeller Then you should not be at University if you need concepts explained at this level, in-fact you have completely misunderstood what a University is for. RESEARCH SKILLS.............

Mikeeey S Look if you cannot keep up....... They are paid to teach research skills in their given area of expertise. If you honestly believe they are there to 'parrot' teach what they know... then I would suspect you did not progress past primary/secondary school learning level.

Mikeeey S You are poorly informed on at least two points: 1. I have never attended university "No, that's what school is for, school teaches you through various assignments how to do research on your own. It's no different in University," 2. If you think that doing an assignment a school qualifies as research... well that is just sad. There is a big difference between the 'research' of picking colored pencils for a graph and citing peer reviewed articles.
@flashforensics

Mikeeey S I think it is better you quit whilst you are 'ahead'........ We can add a third criteria . You obviously have no concept of research skills or the purpose of 'citation' .... but good luck with your 'citethisforme'... I'm off to watch sponge bob... maybe the chance for some intelligent feedback.
Super tutorial, many thanks for your help! Keep up the excellent teaching skills. Very well presented!
I'm writing an information systems test on Tuesday...... This video REALLY explained a lot!!!
This is so awesome and so well described that i wonder why i gotta sit in a class for 3 hours plus just to understand it all when its a ll concluded in 15 minutes. great stuff guys

I think you guys just saved my ass
Gina B., Kristen T.; Marielle S.; Thank you very much for this presentation because it is the shiznit. I have seen ERD in filemaker Pro books and that is the first time that I have found a concise explanation on how the ERD works and especially the CROW's Feet Symbols with their respective meanings… CHEERS!
The greatest video of all time.....(on the subject of entity relationship diagrams).
As a non-computer science background, this was very easy to understand. Thank you!
such an amazing tutorial, I really liked the way you taught the concept,I spent whole semester trying to understand but now i've firm grip over this concept. Keep it up and share other tutorials as well
I love this! Sure, it can be a bit corny with all the talking but at the same time that's what makes it great!
AMAZING! this video explains the first two weeks of headache I have been having trying to comprehend several chapters out of the text books. This class would be so much easier if I watched this video on day one!!
