Bayer Leverkusen’s venture to South Korea was a great success. The enthusiasm for South Korea fan favourite Heung-Min Son in particular was huge.

If not for COVID-19, Spurs were suppose to do a preseason tour at South Korea this year. Imagine what that would have been like.
I wish there was a bpl channel which made these quality videos

BVB should've joined Bayern and go play in the USA. Capitalize on the after world cup hype in USA. Plus its a massive market.

Korean football could be great, but was set back a decade after that horrific world cup in 2002.

What are you on about South Korea got to Semi final in the 2002 world cup and after the world cup it sparked something in both Japan and South Korea.

That's not what I meant, yes it was good for Koreans and asians in general. Not for football as a whole. There were several allegations of corruption and other things such as bad facilities. I think most people, except asians will agree that South Korea should never have gotten as far as they did. In before accusations of racism and whatnot, I am Korean.

Adidas is a German brand so shouldn't main headquarters be in Germany?
FC Seoul had like 3 breakaways at the end of theatch but scored 0 goals.. korean soccer is intelligent but our finishing is terrible.. i think its in our blood..
When South Korea licked the dirt, Only Germany helped with money while all the reswt countries refused to lend helping hands. With German's help, South Korea could start the economic development. Korea won't forget. And also Korean legend, Cha Bum played at Leverkusen. No wonder German Leverkusen is so likable in Korea..
