I just came back from my 13 days solo travel in Georgia. Aside from Tbilisi, I stayed 3 nights in Telavi and 3 nights in Borjomi. Went on a day trip in Gudauri. I am loving every minute of my stay there.

Hi im going there as a solo traveller may I ask if you do have a tour guide or just do the excursions by yourself . And if you can recommend a cheap safe transportation im planning to visit gudauri batumi and tblisi
@PATET-jt9mw

@@bmonique5187 I went solo on that trip, DIY and on budget. The are a lot of local tour agencies that offer day tours that you will find at the old town area. Bus and metro are are cheaper options if you explore Tbilisi. Shared taxi and cheap Marshrutka vans are available if you will travel outside Tbilisi.

@@project_where Georgia isn't underrated countery in Europe 😫
4:16 Georgian people speaking in Georgian-kartuli ena- ქართული ენა- which is unique because it is memeber of Iberian-Kartvelian language, what about people we do speak in Georgian, English and Russian languages that we know really well, but what about in airports who are working there they prefer to speak in English, btw you guys know English really well, why would you ask in Russian in airports ? it is not restaurant, to ask them, if you see Georgian who is not liking to speak in Russian don't force it ask in English or learn Georgian. The reason why we don't like to speak is that Russian occupied 20% of my country, of Course if somebody don't know different language we would happily help him and talk with him in Russian but you have misinformation before 1991 Georgia was part of Soviet Union so Russian language was expanded pretty well, after collapse of Soviet union, new Generation learned English, what about Old Generation they know Russian better, so it is simple, I wish you happy holiday in Georgia, but I do recommend you that Respect Georgia, like learn 3 words, Gamarjoba-hello, Madloba-thank you, and Nakhvamdis- bye. we love tourists, and of course wish you all best.

by the way Georgian greeting: "Gamarjoba" comes from the Georgian word: "Gamarjveba" (means "Victory to you"). Georgia always had many external enemies, so people always greeted each other by blessing: "Victory to you" - Gamarjveba (Gamarjoba).

Dear Justin, I eat khinkali the way you did and I'm Georgian :) The thing is you need to eat khinkali while it's hot and I don't like to burn my fingers, so it's wise to use a fork. You need to do it right way though, so that you don't break khinkali and spill all the juice from inside, because its juice is the most tasteful part of it. P.S. We don't eat the top of khinkali, it's just thick dough.
