Even some Indians do that. I remember taking turmeric rice to school with some paneer and my classmate was like "what is this?" and she dig into the rice with her roti and ate it. I was like "Are u sure you'd enjoy that?" she's like I do this on a daily basis...to each their own bro but man why does one want to dip one carb based food into other carb based food?!

Pav bhaji is one of the tastiest things on the planet. It originated from Mumbai but I like it better in Delhi because its more tomatoey and sweeter than what you get in Mumbai. Fortunately, my mother makes the best pav bhaji ever. Unfortunately, I am now in the US so I only get to eat it once in a while.

Wish you guys experience it first hand. Do visit and you will never forget the taste of fresh ingredients and spices.

About the thali that you are showing ,i can say in my own house i daily cook 2 vegetables dal which is sweet little strong flavoured means if you drink it hot it feels like hot tasty soup phulka which I make very thin from wheat flour sometimes bhakari that is food of villagers best diet of Maharashtra ,2 chatanis , sweet dahi or with only jeera little salt and salad consisting of cucumber,carrot ,tomato, onions sometimes just like that with little tadka of oil and dhania leaves or with dahi.I love cooking and my family friends food cooked by me
