I know, right?!?! That's what holds me back from ordering from this brand!!

I don't own Ensley Reign YET, butI really want to try a palette from them. However, when you own more than a couple palettes, you try to curate and contain how many bigger palettes you get. If they played with different sizes, I wouldn't be surprised if they were a huge success bc it would be more curated.

I love the undertones of this palette! It's hard to find more nuanced pastels like these, the market is mostly flooded with all these cotton candy colors that look garish on me. Love the variety in depth, too. That being said, Ensley Reign really need to learn to edit themselves... Again it's a huge palette where the color story was only kept cohesive thanks to a ton of dupes. So basically you include lots of multichromes (which drives the price point up) AND make me pay for repeats? Really confused about their market strategy.

This brand releases beautiful palettes, but they are just too expensive for me. 🥺

I really think you deserve some massive palette collaborations. You have a lot of talent, and are the only person on KZread who knows how to show off shifty shades! ❤

Part of me thinks that brands won't collab with her because she's actually very honest which annoys me because that's what makes her deserve one the most!

Would love to be able to see which colors you are working with especially with the shifty multi chrome colors. Multi chromes look different in the pan then they do applied so I'm always curious how they will translate on the eye.

I ADORE this palette!! Theme, artwork, colourstory... so so beautiful! One day it will be mine... one day 🥲 It would be so great if ER released some smaller palettes or 'edit' versions of their existing ones. Spending well over $100 (with shipping + taxes) to try a brand is maybe not a thing everyone wants to do. If they ever released empty magnetic palettes with their artwork - I would be all over that!

I bought the palette as a Christmas gift for myself. With freight to Canada it cost me $166 CAD and I’m sure it will be another $30-40 in customs once it arrives! A bit crazy I know but Christmas only comes once a year!

Shipping to oz is $84 AUD bringing the total to $222 AUD. I was so shocked at the shipping cost as it is about double other Indi brands. They really need to try to get a better price for the shipping outside the USA. I hope you enjoy your palette

I'm in the UK. I paid £65 postage for two palettes, then got smacked by a £46 customs charge on top. Ouch!

I love how pretty these shadows are! I just started watching your videos and I have to say, they're really soothing and relaxing. Just the pure love for makeup nothing else ❤. Love ur channel!

Some of the shimmers in the palette look a bit translucent. But overall it's very ethereal. The price tag though.

I'm soo torn by these. I really love love the theme and the palette. But they are crazy expensive. I love that these are so light shimmers but its pastel. Not really the biggest fan of pastel and i alrrady have the sickly sweet palette from BB which i really like. So i'm like do i need two massive pastel palettes? I dont know

Can you do a video explaining what is the difference between holochromes and multichromes and other special shades? I’ve googled and I can’t get an understanding and turned up pretty much nothing.

Yes! In planning on doing a holo eyeshadow video including holochromes, a holo chrome is a multichrome that has holographic pigment in it, so it not only shifts but also shows the rainbow sparkle effect of a holo

Definitely this one the adept shimmers crease and Ensley reigns shimmers are more impactful. Also for the price you’re getting a lot more with this one.

I have one adept palette and I’m actually selling it. I’ll probably list it on Mercari today. It’s good don’t get me wrong but I’ve only tried it a couple times and a lot of the shadows crease on me and I never get creasing. I have the twisted tea party and a couple other things from Ensley Reign and I prefer their shadows more and I also like that they have some hand pressed shadows and from what I know adept is only ordering from overseas, ER also doesn’t make all of their shadows, but some are, and I don’t have any creasing issues with them. I personally feel the Ensley shadows are more impactful. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I agree - every time I wear Ensley Reign I get tons of compliments! It's like Pat McGrath on steroids, and even though it is expensive, a PMG mothership will only get you max 2-4 sparkly special shades whereas in ER palettes you get like ten! So I think it is actually a great deal, way cheaper than getting singles from indie brands too.

i actually don't like the adept formula. Their shimmers are thicker and crease though they have incredible shine and reflect. But most of all, Adept's mattes suck. They remind me of Ace Beaute's old formula of mattes. Idk if Adept has reformulated their mattes' since but the low quality to lack of mattes alone deter me from Adept's palettes. (this is after trying Ninhydran, Heather Austin, and Amunet)
